  1. Have you had a chance to read her travel blog: http://pescadoamarillo.blogspot.com/2021/08/day-4-glacier-bay-national-park-and-icy_0.html She has mentioned previously that she is having internet issues, That is most likely why she hasn't updated her blog since Wednesday. I assume your concern relates to the sea plane tragedy in Ketchikan. I don't think she was planning on that excursion, although I'm not certain. However, I'm sure she will update her blog as soon as she's able.
  2. When I checked it for the 15th it was $70/day for an Inside, $57.71/day for a balcony and $40/day for a Mini-Suite (Suites are sold out).
  3. No, fully exposed
  4. Bottles of wine, yes, one per adult passenger and it must be consumed in your cabin. Any additional bottles are charged a $20 (?) corkage. It used to be $15, but I believe is was raised. Bottles of spirits or beer, no.
  5. I get the white screen also. I'm "guessing" it might have something to do with how far out your cruise sails. Mine isn't until 2023 (I'll probably book something sooner but not yet 😉). I would think they would want responses that reflect your health status close to your sail date. Or....it could just be that the app is a mess. 😂
  6. It's still currently available on the Apple Store.
  7. There's plenty of hanging space. Although I can't say this from personal experience since we have limited non Princess cruising experience, from what I read it is more than what is offered on other lines. We have never had a problem fitting everything with room to spare and we don't pack all that lightly.
  8. And Murray Slaughter to me.
  9. I'm definitely not looking to start an argument and you are absolutely entitled to make you're own vaccination decision. Having said that I have a strong feeling that the remark that for some of us that "hit a nerve" is highlighted above. Many of us have known of numerous folks that have been infected, some more seriously than others. To say that travel is the only reason to get a vaccine implies you're not concerned about doing your part to stop the spread of the virus among the general community. I'm sure that was not your intention. Just goes to show you how easy it is to be misunderstood on social media. 😀
  10. This is pure speculation on my part, but I would think that under the current situation there may be more requests for tables for two and there may be an effort on the part of the cruise lines to provide them as part of a social distancing strategy. Or, I have no idea what I'm talking about. 😉😀
  11. Looks like a bunch of 2023 dates have been released, at least for those with elite status. The prices are through the roof!!
  12. To each his/her own. 😀 For us the main draw of Club Class is the ability to be able to get a table for 2 without a wait. Also, the extra item and the attentive service is a plus. However, I agree it would make no sense for the OP if they were going to eat in the MDR.
  13. I'm not seeing that on the Princess website.
  14. In addition to these two accurate posts, the long term after effects for many folks that are infected is much greater than is typically the case with the flu.
  15. This might be encouraging. https://seekingalpha.com/news/3618303-modernas-covidminus-19-vaccine-shows-positive-effect-in-older-adults-in-early-stage-study This is the headline from today's article: Moderna's COVID-19 vaccine shows positive effect in older adults in early-stage study
  16. I you click on "Boarding Passes & Travel Summary" on the cruises main Personaliser page and then open the Travel Summary you should see all purchases..
  17. Just curious, what is a "Princess Travelcare Credit"?
  18. My birthdate is also off by one day (day earlier). I'm not going to lose sleep over it. My passport birthdate is correct. That's all that matters.
  19. My experience has been a 20 or 25% discount off the price listed in your personalizer. I can't remember which.
  20. Normally I would prefer the Royal, but for Alaska I would also prefer the Star.
  21. Would you assume this is some kind of website hiccup. I realize there's no pricing.
  22. Thanks for the clarification. I have my doubts about the 4/3 TA. However, even if it does sail, our going will depend on the current Covid-19 situation, the procedures that need to be followed on the ship and the situation in Spain (we were planning on spending several days in Madrid before flying home).
