  1. March 28th Panorama........got bulk of refund today......still waiting on original deposit, steakhouse and AARP purchased giftcard
  2. I bet......I just assumed in was for a somewhat distant future trip........hope u are well, I have appreciated your first hand knowledge of PV
  3. Thanks for the help. My point was that I would not like to be floating at seas for 7 days and be denied port access. The standard Panorama itinerary is Cabo-Mazatlan and the PV. When they stopped at Cabo for an hour and left, there is reason to wonder about the nature of that event. Turns out they off-loaded a medical (surgical) emergency, and had indeed reversed their itinerary.
  4. Host Carolyn, please delete this thread......I moved to Revised itinerary/missed ports thread
  5. I know that this cruise changed to a 6 day and dropped Mazatlan the stop. Did they also reverse the itinerary....ie headed to PV first and then Cabo? I noticed this morning that they sailed right past Cabo which I suspected was their first port. A little paranoid being that we are sailing at the end of March

  7. I think that Carnival and other lines ought to step up and do the right thing for their passengers, that being to allow cancellation with full refund (instead of FCC). We typically average 3 cruises in a five year period, however with a high school baseball player, we are not able to cruise in 2021 or able to schedule something before that. We are not elderly and not 'high-risk' but we should not be held hostage to our reservation with the State department imploring passengers to not cruise.
  8. Do you suggest a jacket or windbreaker? Looked like a lot with just shorts and tshirts but I was wondering.
  9. One other question......we thought about doing the Big Red Bus HOHO. Is it worthwhile if we had a day to tour around?
  10. Hey Steve: How is the Sofitel on West Beverly Blvd?
  11. Check into Enterprise on Ocean Blvd in Long Beach. 3 or 4 minute from port and I think that they shuttle you there if you are dropping off a vehicle
  12. I have read that if you turn left on your way to the ship and go into the Queen Mary drop off area, that you can take a very short walk to the luggage drop off area and avoid the traffic line coming in.
