  1. My suggestion is to contact Azamara as you should not miss out by not being aware of this benefit.
  2. Looks like a much nicer experience than our recent Malaga, on ship version featuring Flamenco dancers. We didn't even bother to attend since this would have be similar to our Seville port "Azamazing" evening. I think anyone who books a particular cruise being enticed by the Azamazing evening should be aware there is no longer a guarantee that is what you will actually experience, and, in my opinion Azamara should adjust their advertising to reflect this fact. Overpromising and under delivery is never a good policy.

  10. Question? Did you use a travel agent or book directly? After reading your valid complaints i would suggest to travel agent convey to Azamara your negative experience and deposit discrepancy. I certainly wouldn't be giving up without communicating your displeasure and hopefully Azamara will be interested in retaining their customer base under these circumstances. If you booked directly then reach out to customer service management. It might prove worthwhile. Good luck.
  11. Best plan is to call in to Azamara and they can book it on your behalf using your obc.
  12. In most case, this is their offering, however it could depend on how far out the cruise is. Other excursions could be added, or subtracted closer to sailing. If there is anything there of interest you can book it to hold your place but cancel it onboard if you change your mind, hence new availability for others.
  13. Why not book your desired cabin and watch carefully for sales or downward price adjustments closer to booking and before final payment is due. A good travel agent is recommended and can handle this for you. Lots of time but this hedges your bet.
  14. If shared is a concern, because it often can be, then try Stefano Rome Cabs. We have used them each and every time and they won't disappoint. From the port to the car is quite close.
  15. Just read on another site that one of the ships is docked right in Town today. We have visited years ago and we were within walking distance.

  17. This program is clear as mud to me at least. We are D+ and as i read it here we were awarded 6 but they have expired without any notification? We are nearing 1500 so will receive 3 more but will these also expire worthless? This is especially annoying since many of us can't even see our points levels online, nor could we find online assistance since the IT merger fiasco. Anyone have any idea?

  19. I agree...big disappointment, especially after all the build up and having to look for it in my junk mail. Check yours.
  20. Shame when someone loses their job. Other thoughts come to my mind....perhaps the precruise customer service will be adversely affected once again. When companies downsize it usually indicates they want to save money, not spend. Let's be hopeful though.

  23. We received the same offer today and i can't even be bothered to wade into the confusion so will pass. Too bad they can't get it right. Similarly, the Talbots offer,lol I will follow and wish you well on a positive outcome.
  24. Not in our case by any stretch. We instead, count the days til our next Azamara cruise. We have done five since the changeover and all have met or exceeded our expectations. We have been cruising with Azamara since 2008 but have done lots of cruises on other lines so we feel confident in our ability to compare. We are also Elite+ on Celebrity. We have been deeply disappointed by recent Celebrity cruise reviews and our last in Spring 2022 will probably be our last. Your criteria may be different from others, so best to keep this in mind.
