  1. Wrona, What are you trying to do to me?? I sail Rhapsody on June 13th. Each day, as my cruise gets closer, I find it more and more difficult to concentrate on my work. Now, as I read you blog, keeping my mind on work is getting damn near impossible! Thank you though for the the trip down anticipation lane ( which is just South of memory lane )! >>>Randy

    FLL pre-cruise hotel ideas?

Hi there. There are loads of hotels in the area. all price ranges and quality levels. From what I read, it sounds like you need a clean convenient place to spend the night without blowing your budget before ever getting on the ship. There is a Comfort Inn nearby that will accomadate your needs. here is the link. http://www.comfortinnfla.com/ If you are looking for something different, I will be glad to make other suggestions but this sounds like what you are looking for. Enjoy your cruise!!! >>>Randy

    How Cold Is It??

In mid June we are taking a 7 day Alaskan cruise. We are sailing from Seattle, North to Juneau and Skagway and then back to Seattle. In regards to packing for the weather, I have been told everything from "just a light jacket" to "bring a heavy coat". I don't want to over pack, but I do want to be prepared. Being from South Florida, we don't get a lot of real cold weather. Can someone who has cruised to Southern Alaska in June advise on what cold weather clothes are really appropriate. Keeping in mind that we are from Florida but we are not total wimps.;) Thank you for any input. >>>Randy
