I booked a 15 day Hawaii cruise on the Miracle for Nov ‘21 using my mom’s casino offer. This is a bucket list cruise for mom so I hope it happens but not too confident. I booked the Mardi Gras “sailbration” last summer to celebrate my bday along with Carnival’s. I was pretty confident by then things would be back to “normal”. Now I’m looking at Fall 2022/Spring 2023 cruises for our plan C. I really miss cruising, it was my favorite way to escape reality, can’t wait to be back at sea.

I booked the “sailabration” sailing for March ‘22. I wanted to sail one of the special cruises that week to celebrate Carnivals birthday as well as mine, so why not be on their newest ship! We booked an inside because we don’t spend much time in the cabin (sleep/change clothes). My last cruise was in Jan, had a couple cancelled since, received email this am cancelling my Dec cruise. I’m starting to feel like the Mardi Gras will be my first time back on a ship.

I sailed on the Sun twice last year (with a 14 yr old) in May and October. I was on the Liberty about 6 years ago and have the Sunshine booked for later this year. I love NCL, have sailed 3 times with them. I’ve sailed 9 times with Carnival , with next one coming up next week. I’m not super active (and I don’t use the pools) when I cruise but I do like having options and I must say the Sun was very laid back and relaxing but almost boring. My favorite things are the tacos @ Blue Iguana Cantina and the staff. I cruise other lines for different reasons but Carnival has the best staff!
