  1. Following up from my (much) earlier post, we purchased a Suite guarantee for June 29 Symphony sailing and hadn't been assigned a stateroom yet (though I knew we were most likely getting a JS). We received the Royal Up email and it was $400 pp for Grand Suite, and $800 pp for Crown Loft and Owner's Suite - but since we hadn't been assigned, I wasn't sure if we should bid. Well, we just received our stateroom yesterday and got a Grand Suite! So glad I didn't bid - though I would have been happy with our JS as it's our first suite experience...not sure if it makes a different but we're sailing with 2 of our kids, so 4 total in the cabin. Just something to think about if anyone has a guarantee room :-)
  2. We're sailing on the Symphony of the Seas on June 29 in a Suite Guarantee and received a Royal Up offer yesterday. We can upgrade to a Grand Suite for $400pp, Owner Suite or CL for $800pp and Aqua Theater Suite for $1100pp- however, the RCCL website still lists our cabin as GTY (not assigned). I know that we'll probably get a Jr Suite with the Guarantee, but shouldn't we at least wait until we're assigned before upgrading? Is it worth $800 total for a Grand Suite? Thanks for the help 🙂
  3. Thanks for all the responses! I downloaded the actual menu so I didn't think it was a sample...but didn't realize it could vary from ship to ship. I don't recall the lasagna having squash; I think the waiter noticed that I didn't care for my initial entree and brought it to me as a replacement. It was excellent 🙂
  4. Hi - I was looking at the dining options on the cruise planner for my June Symphony sailing and noticed that the menu changed for Jamie's. We ate there last summer on Mariner and really enjoyed it (I really liked the lasagna). Do they still have that or is it really off the menu? Thanks!
