  1. With iPhone 10 we use Voom and can do everything just about as if we were home. Spectrum wireless.
  2. A certified or original birth certificate ...PLUS.... A government issued PHOTO ID A driver's license or a passport card is an official PHOTO ID Need the photo.
  3. It is truly amazing to find anything in the ocean. How many ships do we see while sailing for days? It is astonishing to see one all the while the sea is a mass of ships, imagine looking for a bobbing head.
  4. Nearly always a most dangerous and unwise intentional act to be sure.
  5. From videos on PTZ it appears that the tram, stops in the mid-point between Kings Wharf and Heritage Wharf where it discharges and picks up passengers.
  6. I can do a two hour walk at my own pace without too much difficulty and would like to do most of it AT places I would like to visit and as few steps as possible GETTING TO those places.
  7. Don't you hate websites that post incorrect photos without a disclaimer? I should know better with 10162 since my wife informed we that we were in 10162 two cruises ago and reminded me how I banged into the veranda door each time I got out of bed..
  8. Just trying to cut down on the walk needed to get to the dockyard attractions. No need for a scooter.
  9. Same here, going back as far as 2001 and several times since.
  10. Will be down there on a short 5 night on the Liberty of the seas in 20 days and will be sure to get a few photos. I will post them on this site. Never had to even give this a thought up until this year. 👍
  11. It is of no importance other than to indicate that after being to Bermuda many times there are things we NOW need help dealing with. This shows that even seasoned cruisers need help and do not know everything. Sorry if you think otherwise. Happy sailing
  12. Thank you. The dot MARKED TAXIS appears to be where PTZ shows the new electric trams stop. Thanks for the confirmation.
  13. We are Elite + on Celebrity and would like someone who can accurately indicate where the TRAM stops before I book ANOTHER Bermuda sailing. We have been to Bermuda many times since we started cruising over 23 years ago and NOW would like to cut down on as much unnecessary walking as possible. If you could indicate EXACTLY where the tram stops on any of your several maps I would appreciate it, as far as I see on the PTZ Bermuda camera it looks like it stops on the dock midway between Heritage wharf and Kings Wharf and before the long pier walk to the Dockyard. I am NOT looking for a discussion as to what a wharf or dock is and what is a dockyard.
  14. Now with developing mobility problems limiting walking is there still a tram or shuttle from the ship OR the dock to the shopping area in the Royal Naval Dockyard? It has been a few years since we visited Bermuda on the Summit and I would like to eliminate the walk to the shopping and the Frog and Onion.
  15. That was the main ingredient in the world famous FLIT GUN. It was actually DDT, which has been banned in the U.S.A. since 1972. I grew up in Brooklyn and we all ran behind the sprayers with our friends, drenched in the stuff, LOVING EVERY MINUTE.
  16. If you both are on th account, you can each go online and redeem what you want. They treat the redemption like a purchase where you purchase what you wish to in set amounts.
  17. There's no Coastal Kitchen on the Liberty so how is the breakfast at Chops ?
  18. Ours was March 7th 2020. Brutally cold and they were having a problem somewhere in the check-in process which caused a heck of a wait in line to get into the terminal. They used a forehead thermometer to check our temperatures and I bet they read about 32 degrees. LOL Got to meet a bunch of people during the wait as our adventure began.
  19. Our third Grandeur sailing out of Baltimore was on the last day before they closed down cruises because of Covid. The cruise ports all shut down and we managed to dock in Dominica and Barbados for the rest of our cruise we crisscrossed all over the Caribbean. The crew was spectacular The food was great. Our J-suite ???? The HVAC system didn't supply heat, weather was frigid when we embarked, or cooling when we were in the Caribbean. Heating was again a problem when we were cruising back to the North. Heating and cooling were resolved after several calls. The metal ceiling panel fell onto our bed and once again we had to have that resolved. The veranda door would not lock and would slide open even after it was "repaired" twice. When I finally used Duct Tape to hold it shut at night the whistling sound was comically loud. The cruise was still fun, and we treated it as an adventure including all the missed ports, but did get to visit Dominica once again, which was an unexpected bonus. Unless the ship had a major maintenance program, I would not recommend it especially if they got the stateroom we had. LOL. We have been sailing for over 23 years and never complained about minor things but that sailing was more like a comedy of errors, or rather a comedy of mishaps.
  20. Who gave you casino OBC? Casino Royale (Club Royal) ? We have never had a problem with them? Are also a member of Crown and Anchor? An upgrade? Is it a reciprocal membership through Celebrity?
  21. At present there are no water attractions and things like the Northstar or rock climbing, but the future? Sailed on Celebrity 23 years ago and earned our elite +, but things as always change and the refined upscale got to be more and more strange to us when they began with the new ship builds and the new management. They used to have white glove service and live music in the MDR along with staff that took your TRAYS in the buffet and seated you at a table. Now Diamond + on Royal, and fully enjoy all they offer along with the more relaxed atmosphere. You can find anything X offers on R/C cruises. You just have to look. On one of our last X cruises they began a CHIC dress suggestion, and it was funny to see flip flops and shorts in the MDR. We will now stick with R/C for several reasons and keep our eyes open for the things we enjoy.
