  1. As the instigator of this Thread I thank you for all the replies. Garry
  2. Hello form New Zealand. Having cruised with Cunard priviously I should know this but I must be having "a Senior Moment"<g> Is Britannia, on QE, open for lunch when the ship IS IN PORT? Thanks, Garry
  3. Thanks for the interesting replies. As it will be a Christmas Cruise I definitely do not want to sit alone. Therefore should there a problem if I go Anytime Dining which I would normally have anyway? Garry
  4. I am a solo traveller and enjoy meeting people. I have booked a couple of more cruises and thought, for a change, I would go Club Class. Now I think I have made a mistake in that I will not be able to ask to share a table. Is that correct? If so, does anyone know, if one can change the booked grade? I have only paid deposits. Thanks.
  5. Later this year I am embarking on a couple of cruises and whilst organising the numbers for the M%G I have had enquiries aout forming some Trivia tables. I have done this before and have a couple of questions for past Majestic Princess travellers. Are the Groups still a max. of 6. what times are they normally on. and what is the usual location? Thanks, Garry
  6. Do all P&O (Australia) ships' Dinner Menus show only three Entrees, three Mains, three Desserts and payment is required for all other choices? Thanks Garry, Auckland
  7. As I cannot find a Majestic Forum I am posting this question here. I am doing two cruises on this ship and am organising both SailAways. If anyone has sailed on her before where are the best locations to hole this event? Preferable outside near aft - if possible. Thanks Garry, NZ
  8. Very good Stewart. I am cruising on her from December 8 and July 29 next. Where are you living now?
  9. Altho' I have been on a number of ships I have never sailed with RCI. I am booked on Ovation of the Seas later this year and am having trouble coming to grips with the Dining Options (not the Specialty Restaurants w/Cover Charge). As I am traveling solo is there provision for one to make or join a table for meals? I am used to either sitting at an allocated table for all meals or Anytime Dining when I arrive whenever and make or join a table. Thanks
  10. Having travelled on PP before and was not very impressed I am going to give it another go. In saying that, I did enjoy dining at SALT but cannot find a "menu" on a relevant website t0 sort of rmind me what is offerred. Would you readers remind me of what is on the Menu when you sailed. Thanks.
  11. Having read a couple of reviews i[ appears dining arrangements have improved vastly. Will consider travelling on PP again.
  12. As I also travel solo I guess that is the best way to get around it - just show up. Thanks
  13. When I travelled on Pacific Pearl on her "maiden" cruise the dining arrangements were atrocious! As there was only one Dining Room (there was Salt and the Buffet) with the two Sittings, one had to either book a table, each afternoon, for the evening meal, or "speak" with the Maitre d'Hotel who assured you that the same table would be available each evening. NOT a pleasant arrangement. As I am contemplating another cruise on her (only because of the ports of call) has anything from the above changed?
  14. Yes - as soon as I submitted it I realised the error!!!
