Anybody have a current list of UBP beverages?
shannonh replied to mohavemommy's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
We were on the Epic in April and asked about a Manhattan made with Knob Creek. It would have been about a $5 to $6 charge to have the Manhattan with Knob Creek. We chose to use Bullett Bourbon, which was covered under the package and was super good! That would be your option, in our opinion. If you want to just have a shot of Knob Creek, I can't remember what the price was but it still was over the package limit. -

Photo Review: Celebrity Summit 2/7/15 Southern Caribbean (with 2 days in San Juan)
shannonh replied to HeatherC430's topic in Celebrity Cruises
Thanks for the amazing review. We will be on the Summit in April! A question for you...for someone who has never been to St. John, barring any weather disruption, would you suggest Trunk Bay or Caneel Bay. We have been thinking of doing either Truck (or Cinnamon), but would love to know your preference now that you have been to Caneel. (I know that you haven't been to Cinnamon). Thanks! -
I just received a message from my son who is on the Carnival Valor that their visit tomorrow (Thursday) to Belize has been canceled. They will now be visiting Costa Maya instead.

Josh--Thanks so much for responding. Our problem is that the coffee that is onboard is never strong enough...the symptom of a Seattlelite! Thanks again.

Coffee is a big deal in our lives (coming from Seattle!). For those of you that have been in a regular balcony stateroom, I have a question. I am thinking of bringing the regular round paper filters and ground coffee. Does anyone think that this setup will work in the machines that are in these rooms? I would imagine that they provide paper "pods" that you just throw in, but I would rather use the filters and ground coffee. Any thoughts?

We're on Epic! What do you want to know?
shannonh replied to kelly@'s topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
Kelly--Thanks for answering our questions. I have another...I can see from pictures that balcony cabins have a coffee pot. I am assuming that they provide you with those drop in coffee pods (pillows). We like to bring our own coffee. Do you think it would work if we were to bring the regular coffee filters (Mr. Coffee style) and our own preferred ground coffee? If we were to bring coffee filters, would they be the round shape or the "v" shape? We are very picky about our coffee and, heck, we're on vacation!!!! -

This board could keep you busy 24/7 while on the Epic. If you get a chance, do the standard balcony cabins have a coffee machine or just a hot pot? Thanks!!! -
Opinions on Balcony on bump out corners??
shannonh replied to neverthought's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
ShrekFiona-- I will remember to let you know what we think of 10080 for sure! It really looks to us like our balcony will be quite large! We'll be on for two weeks, so will have plenty of time to enjoy it! -

fi'fi-- How do you know that the balcony is 65 sq. feet? I have cabin 10080 on July 24 and would love to know how many square feet the balcony is. Can I find this information somewhere? -
I am really close to being able to turn my World Points into $250 onboard credit. Since we sail in July, I want to make sure to request this within the next month. To get me to the point where I can qualify for $250 I will need to charge quite a bit on my card this month. I am thinking that I will purchase onboard credit for my cruise using my credit card. Since the credit would be purchased through NCL, I will get more points than with a regular purchase. Will they charge my credit card immediately for those points? Has anybody tried this?

Again, I am just wondering if anyone has any experience with our situation. I submitted $500 of Cruise Rewards from the old program to pay off part of our invoice. Now I have enough in the new program to ask for onboard credit. Are the two combinable? Will they tell me that I cannot use the onboard credit since I used Cruise Rewards?
