  1. I rather have a good chef, than a good cd. I encounter food alot more than I do a cd.
  2. If you are just looking for a place to hang your hat, the Hilton Garden Inn Miami Airport West is in Doral, which is suppose to be a safe area. Got a great price off of PL. Will be staying there for my Sept. cruise.
  3. Was it the home test, or given at a health clinic.
  4. To Bafinegan: The ID NOW, that you show, saids results within 24 hours. The Abbott test has a different time. I sent the following email to Carnival, hoping to get approval from them. AFC Urgent Care South Plainfield, the Urgent Care I use, offers the Abbott ID NOW COVID-19 rapid test to detect cases of the live COVID-19 virus. I would like to know if this is acceptable, to get on the Ship in Sept. This rapid test provides positive results in 5 minutes and negative results in 13 minutes. It is performed via a molecular instrument, which is more accurate than rapid antigen tests. The Abbott ID NOW test is available under an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) from the FDA. Click here for more information showing the Abbott ID NOW’s COVID-19 testing performance of 95.0% sensitivity and 97.9% specificity within seven days of symptom onset. If you have recently been exposed to someone who has subsequently tested positive for COVID-19 or are exhibiting symptoms of the virus, visit AFC Urgent Care South Plainfield for rapid testing.
  5. This test is not a home test. It is use by the Urgent Care near me.
  6. Has anyone used the Abbott ID NOW COVID-19 rapid test. Reading everything, I had one person say it is acceptable, and on another topic, not acceptable. I sent an email to Carnival on Wednesday, with all the information about it, to see if I can use it. I imagine, if they respond to me, it will not be for awhile. My cruise is on Sept.18. A simple yes or no from them is all I need.

  8. Thank you for your review. Something that I am too lazy to do. When you got off the ship, were there taxis available?
  9. I booked a guarantee for the Horizon Sept.18. They put me on 6 forward. Only bad thing is that it is a connecting room. I don't mind, but I come in late and get up early. Both times I like to put the TV on. I don't know how it will effect the people in the connecting room.
  10. Is there any problem getting a taxi at Port of Miami to go to airport.
  11. I have a connecting cabin. It's the people next to me that need to worry about noise. When I come in at night, after the casino, I put TV on. Could be anywhere from 12 to 2. I'm get up early. TV goes on.
  12. I'm Platinum, and my sail date is Sept. 18. My check in date is Sept. 2.
  13. I'm sailing on the Horizon on Sept. 18. I took a guarantee balcony. I have received my cabin. 6th floor forward. No complaints.
  14. Has anyone stayed here. Have read different reviews on it. Plan on staying in Sept. before my cruise. Thank you: Matt
  15. What are they doing for folks with no smart phone, or pay as you go phones. Will there be a way to see the dining room menus? How about the days activities.
  16. Thinking of booking Sept.18 Horizon. Do you think people are ready to return to cruising, or will I be on a ghost ship.
  17. Read post #45. You will see that I only meant it as a rhetorical question.
  18. Does Royal have any thought how on to get back our wasted vacation days?
  19. I assume that Cape Liberty terminal is heated. I'm cruising on Anthem of the Seas this Friday, and thinking of putting my winter coat in my suitcase, so I will not have to carry it around, until I'm allowed in my room. From past cruisers, is this doable? Thank you: Matt
  20. Does the Anthem have traditional dining, or is it all my time dining.
  21. While docked in Nassau, is the casino open? I know they have been open in some ports. Thank you.
  22. Are the casino servers compensated when the prime cruisers get free drinks.?
