    After watching the price for a day I have bought from HL this morning. With three 14 night cruises already booked it is a no brainer.

    In theory, yes. Very unlikely unless they have to stop cruising. I am going to buy a 100 for OBC. I have 3 in the next 15 months, so at about £5.30 a share it's a no brainer.

    Randomised testing is a good solution. It would deter many that may be tempted to board with Covid and reassure many that worry people are carrying it onboard.

    Is the OBC for share holders for all bookings, not just Select fares ?

    We have always raved about the Epicurean on other ships but onboard Iona we were disappointed. It didn't have any atmosphere and the food was mediocre.

    As many of you rightly say, money is going to be tight and there will be good last minute bargains. Have an Arvia cruise booked for Sep 23 within my budget with £800 OBC. Will not be booking any more early.

    Several moments that made me gulp, the most poignant for me being ex RN was the first time I saw the RN ratings about to pull the Gun Carriage. Very proud. I will add the pall bearers were amazing.

    Are you sure ? We were on a MSC ship 6 years ago in an Italian port, onboard ship. My wife made a phone call, believing she was roaming and ok. When we returned home we had £17 charge for connecting to the maritime service.

    I had a letter, via my TA, about four weeks ago informing me I had £150 OBC for our Jan 23 Iona cruise. Received an email yesterday giving the same info, perhaps I'll get it twice ! Only kidding, typical P&O inefficiency.

    What about tonic? I understood that was fountain only with gin and tonic.

    Exactly. They made a big thing about completing forms outlining the circumstances after laundering didn't work and saying it would be sent to MSC HQ. Wish they hadn't bothered.

    That is fine if you intend to cruise again within 12 months with MSC, that is the time limit given on their email. I don't.

    Some online TA's are worse than P&O answering the phone and dealing with queries. I would recommend a personal TA who works from home and you can access almost 24/7. I cannot name the lady who I use but I am sure others are just as good. Social media is a good place to look.

    The current prices and OBC offerings are poor. This will have to change when energy costs and everything else goes up. Bargains galore next year.

    My TA says it is the T&C's that it must be claimed when booking. She did say keep trying, some will add it if you are nice to them.

    A reminder. OBC with Defence Card is only payable on a Select Fare.
