  1. Even if you booked through an agent? RCCL still shows my cruise as atcive.
  2. Are the official cancellation emails coming from RCCL or a travel agent?
  3. That's encouraging. We are able to go October 18-25, 2020.
  4. Not trying to high-jack but we, too, are planning a Canada/New England cruise but want to go when the fall foliage is best. I know it's impossible to predict, but "typically", would you go in mid-September of mid-October (our two options)?
  5. It's day by day as far as the closure goes..... We will have a better assessment tomorrow evening whether any additional closures are necessary beyond Thursday.
  6. This is who we are using. https://alaska-whalewatching.com/
  7. Don't see this posted anywhere yet. Posted last night on FB. We're there on the 21st. so who knows if it will be fully open. Due to extended periods of heavy and steady rain over the past several weeks, the Denali National Park & Preserve Road will be closed to public vehicle access at mile 30 (Teklanika Rest Stop) beginning 7 a.m. on Thursday, August 8, 2019. This closure includes park transit and tour buses. Since August 1, vehicle traffic on the Park Road has been periodically disrupted by rock falls and debris slides beyond mile 30. The extended heavy and steady rains
  8. Unfortunately, I've lost access to my Flickr account. Trying to get it resolved but no luck yet.
  9. Is there any additional cost for the ship drop off?
  10. Great! ........and thanks!
  11. We will be arriving in Seward by train around 11am after a DIY ground tour. Rather than immediately board the ship, we chose to do an afternoon cruise around Resurrection Bay with Kenai Fjords Tours. My concern is what do we do with luggage for 4 during that time? I thought I read that you could check your luggage through to the ship upon boarding the train in Anchorage but haven't been able to find that info again. I know the railroad does not offer storage at the station. Is there maybe a transfer service available? Can someone share their luggage experience?
  12. At least it works. You had me worried with your comment. I had a choice between spending less than $200 or around $1,000 to cover the chance that I "might" need the 600mm range on the AK trip. To avoid any marital disagreements, I chose the Kenko.
