  1. We're planning to set sail in a few months and haven't booked our cruise because we're waiting to see if the price drops but keeping a VERY close eye on available rooms in case the numbers get too low. Do prices usually drop at the last minute? <thats one question> Can you bring like canned or bottled sodas on the ship? My mom and her friend sailed in Sept. and she said they took their own drinks and i was wondering how you'd go about it. <Thats question two.> My final question, will carnival price match with competing cruise lines? I found the same cruise, same rooms, same itenerary, everything for like 130.00 cheaper and was wondering if they'd match it since its the same amount of nights and everything. <That was my last question> Sorry if im annoying its my first cruise and i want to make sure i have everything right and nothing is going to blow my first cruise, and my HONEYMOON!!! :) Thanks in advance.
  2. I'm getting married on may 17th, go me. lol. The cruise that we want to go on will be departing on may 19th, which will give us a day in the middle which will be awesoem for recooping from all the stress of the wedding and having to drive from Tennessee to Florida, which i don't think will really be as bad as a lot of people are making it out to be, then again i'm going on a cruise and I dont know many people who have. Anyway to my real question. i dont know if we'll ever cruise again. since i've never done it i can't really say its something that i'll want to do ALL the time. on top of that we dont travel much and we dont really have much of a desire for it. i'm planning on booking our cruise SOON, but what happens in the instance of them changing the laws for passports by then? i dont want to fork out 85.00 per person for 2 people, 170.00, for a one time thing. i think that would be RIDICULOUS. what kind of advice can you all give a newbie? Thanks in advance for all help from all of you kind people, and happy cruising to those of you who have fallen in love with it.

    Passports

I know this question is most likely asked all the time, but do you have to have a passport to sail from U.S. to Bahamas?

  6. So, I'm getting married May 17th 2008- exciting right?! well... i read that you have to be 21 years of age or have someone 25 or older with you in the cabin. There was an exception for underage married couples. We're planning on going on the cruise on May 18th 2008 for our honeymoon. What kind of proof of marriage will we be able to use after the wedding to get on the cruise ship? i'm so confused and any help would help me out SO much. Thanks in advance. Also, has the passport law went into effect yet? if so what does the waiting process for a passport consist of?
