  1. I am taking chemo treatments and the doctor has okayed a pedicure as long as there is no “massage chair” set up with plumbing attached. It must be done with a basin that can be scrubbed. Does anyone have experience with the pedicure set-up on the Vista? Being the spa is a third party operation, I’m not confident in getting the correct information from Carnival. Also, is anyone aware if they autoclave their tools? Thank you!
  2. Why do they get inspected? I guess to make sure we don't sneak alcohol in. Mind you it's been a few years since we've cruised (I'm going through chemo) but they've done it every time we've cruise out of Galveston.
  3. We bring duct tape in our carry-on, but it's to reseal the box our Diet Cokes are in once they've been inspected.
  4. The smell of bleach always reminds me of a cruise ship.
  5. We spent a morning at Mega and throughly enjoyed it. It was a fun non-touristy thing to do and we enjoyed looking at all the similar yet different offerings. We sat down and had a snack and a Coke Light (which tasted a bit different from our regular Diet Coke). It was a memorable day, but we’re easy to please. 😁
  6. Thank you so much for the work you’ve put into this. We’re booked for September and I’ve used your review several times for reference. Thank you again!
