  1. Limbo lower now.. how low can you go? Just kidding. No. I didn't get a thing once I bid until it was accepted. However, if you want to change your mind, you can sign back in and raise or lower your bid though. Once it's accepted though, that's it.
  2. No choice on locations. But yes to using gift cards. We just used those from AARP. Just enter the # and Pin and it's done.
  3. We just got our bid accepted. I found it odd that the lower cat cabin is what was approved. More so as it was more on the lower end of the bid dial vs the rejected higher cat cabin bid. I'm happy the way it worked, but we never did get an email that the higher cat cabin bid was rejected. Now when I check, Princess shows the higher cat cabin bid as "expired" and the lower cat cabin bid as "Upgraded." FWIW, we went from a reg balcony to a deluxe Balcony. Bid to premium deluxe Balcony was rejected. Got it 16 days out.
  4. Spot on, but I admit that in the evening, we tend to be around the IC than up top by the buffet. It's not an only reason, but having the CCard allows one to score those coffees for "free" at the lower deck.
  5. If you're at all a coffee drinker, I find the ground package worth it. I don't know how many are included these days, so I may be in error. It used to be 15 drinks. As a plus one also gets free brewed coffee and tea at the International Café. ReedP did a great job with answers above! You should fine most things are free on the ship. There are a few costs, but ReedP got most of them. Sounds like you should really be able to enjoy the cruise. PS.. I'm a huge fan of Alfredos.. try it at least once!
  6. even if it did change (Which from what I can tell, it hasn't for some time,) there is value with paying a smaller deposit. True, sales do come up with small deposits, but this gives one complete freedom to book with limited out of pocket costs too.
  7. I've taken cans. Just this last summer. Maybe Lauderdale is pretty lax with enforcement? No idea on other ports.
  8. I keep hoping but it's only Diet Coke. The cult is strong. LOL
  9. One can order as many as they want.. up to 15. At least it was for us in July. It's the regular coffee that is limited to only one at a time.
  10. We Cruised this July on the Carr. P. I got the coffee "card" but the Barista's almost never marked a purchase. Yes, I know reg. coffees are unlimited. I really don't recall how many I got, but let's just say, more than my share. Since it was a 2 week cruise, this worked out great!
  11. I find it interesting that we can all access this "book." (thru your link above.) On our July cruise we had the same book. So it looks like all one has to do is print this pdf and one has the coupons.... if one can use any.
  12. I don't have any questions, but saying to carry one's Vax card may not actually take care of things. Maybe a booster or two are required? Maybe the passenger isn't vaxed at all. So yeah, check the site and hopefully the answer will be there.
  13. That's an issue, but from others, I heard ship's location can impact speed too. For me, I noticed differences on the ship (Sky and Carr) Even on the Lido deck, there were better and worse places. I suppose it's not funny, but I like to walk around the upper deck at times (Exercise) and found buffering in some places vs others. As for Apple music.. it wasn't blocked. Nor was Iheart, XM, Audicy.
  14. Yes, I know the coupons in the coupon book are worthless to many. But, lucky us, we'd likely us at least of couple of them. The question I have is for those of you that used at least one coupon. Did you just show them the coupon on your phone? Or did you have to print out a hard copy and hand it over? Curious, since there really is no direction in regards to using one. It does say that one can print it, but never describes what "presenting" the coupon to use it means. I know I could print out the couple we might use, but I'd much prefer the convenience of just showing it with my phone. Thanks for any tips on that.
