I would rent a car in Skagway and take the scenic road up to Canada. Pull over where ever you see a tour bus or groups of cars on the side of the road, as there are many breath taking views. There's just one main road up, so you will discover all there is to see along the way. In my opinion, the train is nice to look at but interminably boring. Youtube it and you will see what I am talking about. Some people love it. Not me.

Completely agree with this! I was on a November transatlantic from Civitavecchia in Nov 2019 and there was a viral pneumonia outbreak on the ship with people everywhere sounding like they were dying. People reported bills from the ship’s medical center of 4-6k! They were going for daily steroid breathing treatments and other things. How interesting that it was just 8 weeks before cv officially hit the scene. I bet all those sick people would have tested positive, if there were tests available. Wash your hands, fortify your immune system and go on your way. Germs are everywhere!
