1/2 Day St John Champagne Catamaran Sail

That's what I thought, too. Thanks

1/2 Day St John Champagne Catamaran Sail

Thanks Mona! Was the equipment they had new, specifically the snorkels?

1/2 Day St John Champagne Catamaran Sail

We are booked on this excursion next week. Do you know if they provide new snorkel pipes/masks, or should we bring our own? Thanks

Taking Water & Soda on Board?

    Thanks Cruisingator!

Taking Water & Soda on Board?

We are driving to the port, so air travel is not an issue. Can we take on the bottled water/soda outside of our luggage or must we put it inside? Has anyone ever just taken on a case of bottled water?

    Lemonade

Unsweetened iced tea lovin' Southern girls unite! I really don't like any sweet beverage - coffee or tea or regular coke. I prefer to eat my sweets ;) . But thanks for lowdown on the lemonade. I'll be sipping some in 15 days and can add my own two cents worth on the topic when I get back.

Anyone recently sail with Island Girl?

Sailor Gal: We are also considering the 1/2 day Champagne Cat Sail. Did you book yours through Royal Caribbean? Can't decide whether to take the big group one that RC offers or Captain Mike. You get some beach time with the RC excursion. Does anyone know if you get to see alot of St. John with Captain Mike? Any input from anyonewould be appreciated.

    Wine Recommendation???

Wow! Thanks Critterchick. I was about to book the wine and dine based on the list posted on the RCCL website. The list in your link are MUCH fuller. I think I will take your advice and wait and buy individually on board.
  9. I'm so glad you posted this! We are cruising June 1 on FOS to celebrate DS graduating college and DD graduating high school. I, too, would love something for the door to honor them.
  10. Just wondering... Does Bonine make you sleepy or have any other side effects?
  11. Thanks Trac - The house is back to normal. I didn't mean to be a spoil sport! I don't blame you for wanting to go in fall - I think it would be a beautiful time to cruise, and I definitely understand about avoiding the summer trips with tons of kids. Understand, we are all very gun shy here because of our experience! I don't think you'll have any problems whenever you go. Best of luck and ENJOY!!! Ann PS You may notice that we are cruising the Caribbean June1 - first day of Hurricane season!
  12. Maybe it's because I live on the Gulf Coast (house was flooded by Katrina), but I would think about avoiding the Caribbean at that time of year. Hurricane season stretches June 1 to Nov. 30, but August and September are the especially risky months. The Bermuda itinerary would keep you in the cooler waters of the Atlantic and at less risk. Of course, it's all luck of the draw, and this fall could be the one with an Atlantic hurricane. Just a thought.

Soda card is a soda mug

Can you use the soda card to get soda with dinner in the dining room? Seems like I saw a post that said you had to buy it by the can there. Does anyone know how much that costs?
