  1. Back in mid August a family from our church Sailed out of Charleston on The Sunshine.   I was talking to her and she said she was disappointed because there were no shows at night.   Can anyone confirm this being true? I have never been on a cruise without shows!!!

  2. We are going sailing again after a long break due to Covid.  Nov 2019 to be exact is the last time we cruised.
I have heard about some changes in food.

so I have a couple questions.

    1) Do they have the sweet and sour shrimp?

    2) is Lobster still served free or at all on formal night?

    3) Escargot still offered?

    4) last but not least Cream Brûlée

I tried to search for this but couldn’t find answers.

    Thanks in advance!!!

    Lew

PS Can you still do a personal muster session instead of group?

  3. Thank you for all the replies…. We don’t all stay in one cabin and our shoes alone takes up one of the suitcases.   So each person has a suitcase with clothes, a garmet bag, toiletries bag( carryon) plus our sons have backpacks.   The first cruise YES I had way more than we needed but 10 cruises or so later I’ve learned what to take and what not.  Although my family teases me about the amount of shoes lol

i will let my friend know the policy hasn’t changed.  🙂

  4. Since Covid we haven’t cruised 😞  A friend is leaving in 11 day for first cruise.  How many suitcases are you allowed to bring onboard?  I told her we had 6-8 for family of 5 plus carryons.   Has a limit been set ?

Will it be OK to have both in the same bag if we are all boarding together.  Both cabins were booked with same credit card and are linked?

Kathy put both in the carryon. When you get to the security check in take one out and hand it to your son. He can scan it through with his things. After you get on the other side put it back into your carryon and roll it onboard 🙂 If it was me I would ask TSA if it can stay in carryon but let them know you have two cabins 🙂 My motto is if you ask not you get not 🙂

  6. Is there a tour company that uses a van for public tours?  Mom is in a small scooter that will fit in a mini van ( it will come apart to fit in a trunk or van)   I have seen private tours but the cost is expensive for just the 2 of us.  The cruise accessible tour sold out.  This will Be Moms first time and most likely last time she will be 76 this year.  Any help is much appreciated!

We have a special  needs daughter. We arrive early and sit in the front. Oasis of the Seas has wheelchair cutouts. A crew member has to take you around to an elevator. On one occasion there was a Star Class passenger who took the HA companion seat (marked with the universal symbol). So we had to sit behind her as they did not acknowledge it. I think the Genie should not have reserved that unless one of their party had a wheelchair guest.

Thank you! I agree unless you are with a handicapped party do not sit there!
