  1. Thanks for your help. The credit did not show on our booking so I called Princess. They said it usually appears by Day 14 (I booked 10 days ago).
  2. Do these credits only show up on your booking once the balance is paid in full? DH military OBC is not showing (final payment due in Sept) and I don't want to call prematurely. Thx!
  3. Same with us. I think it's very generous!
  4. Wow! What a great review. Thank you for such a terrific description of your trip. I'll be on her for the transatlantic in April and I'm getting very excited. This gets me even more so 🙂
  5. Do you know where I can find the current drink prices? I'm trying to decide if the package makes sense. Thx!
  6. Thanks for the great review. We board her tomorrow 🙂
  7. Two friends in their early 60's- 1 tore his Achilles tendon and one broke her hip, both playing pickleball 🤕. I'm not sure if I want to learn, lol.
  8. We've had pool towels charged to our account the morning of our departure. Luckily we noticed before we left the ship because it took a while (phone calls between guest services and housekeeping) for them to remove the charge.
  9. I use the app SpotHero to find parking whether I need it at an airport, port, or visiting a city. It will give you lots of options and their prices. You book in advance. I plan to use it for my January, 2023 Miami cruise parking.
  10. We roll our clothes and use packing cubes. Amazing what you can fit into a carry on with the cubes! We also do laundry midway through a 7+ day cruise. DH stopped packing "formal night" clothes which eliminated the need for dress shoes. We both run daily, so we limit our cruise footwear to a pair of running shoes and a pair of sandals. For formal night, DH wears jeans/button shirt/sneakers and I wear pants/nice top/sandals. I was skeptical about only having 2 pairs of shoes for a week long cruise, but it has worked out so well!
  11. Absolutely! DH and I share a large suitcase or each bring a carry on for our 1-2 week vacations. We definitely rely on laundry services 🙂
  12. Spa access and benefits only apply to guests #1 and #2. If the 3rd and 4th guests want to use the spa, they will need to buy a pass.
  13. Have an extra home test on hand if you do this. DH and I did our Optum tests before our last cruise and DH's did not work (the solution did not move up the test strip). Optum said they'd mail a new one overnight, but they did not send it to the address he requested, but to our home address (we were already at port city). Luckily, a nearby Walgreens was able to get him in last minute for a NAAT. Stressful, though.
  14. You will need proof of a negative COVID test (not self-administered) taken 72 hrs or less before boarding. If you had proof from a doctor/lab of your positive COVID result, the protocols would be different.
  15. I just turned Platinum on my March cruise and also sailed in April. On both cruises, there was a party with unlimited drinks (depending on whether you could snag a drink from an elusive server's tray and/or order a drink). DH and I had 2 each at the party and left with one. We were fine with that. No food was served but since we're new to Platinum, we weren't expecting any. We got our $25 pp free play from the casino, free laundry, free brunch drink, and a gift from Pixels. Pretty happy overall. Most loyalty program perks (hotel, airline) depend on how frequently a customer stays/flies PER YEAR. Eventually, as the number of Platinum and Diamond members increase, which they continue to do, I think cruise lines are likely going to have to tighten their requirements.
