  1. For those of you who requested a FCC, any chance of a cash refund will end on Dec 31 correct, so you must request by then? Also, we paid for our cruise on a Credit Card that we carry zero balance on. If we decide to request a refund near the end of the year (based on the status of cruising) do you know how those refunds are being issued? Are they crediting the credit cards or are they refunding via cash? We don't need to carry that large a credit on our card. We have a 2021 cruise booked for late that year. It's the only cruise we will do in 2021 or 2022 (other reasons for that) so the extra 25% is not that big of a deal if we were to lose now that we now our 2021 cruise is completely covered based on what we paid for 2020 cruise that didn't happen which is why we are thinking getting the cash back would be better for us than the FCC. When we had to make the decision it was early into all this and we thought we were making a good decision.
  2. Thank you. Is there a penalty to ask for refund after the FCC is assigned do you know?
  3. We were booked and PIF when our 2020 Celebrity cruise was cancelled (like everyone else's). When it was cancelled we opt'd for the FCC but now are thinking we may not cruise at all in 2021 due to many factors. Does anyone know how they are handling this? Are we still able to get a refund and what the penalties will be? Thanks so much!!
  4. Thanks for sharing this. Didn't know we could get ours stamped on the ship. Adding a reminder to my calendar now 🙂
  5. I am looking to find more information on this excursion. We have it booked for August but I really don't know what to expect and if it is really worth it. Would really like to read some comments for those who have done it. is it worth it? why this over just staying on ship. Anyone have photos and/or video taken? For some reason I am just having a hard time finding this type of information. THANKS.
  6. Can anyone who has done one of these in the past few years share their thoughts, good and bad? We are looking to do one next summer. Most of what I read is from years ago so looking for more up to date information. How was transportation? Hotels? How was luggage handled, etc. Thanks
  7. Two very quick questions (I hope) 1st question: Entered all the info for our upcoming cruise into the SetSail Pass. When complete it says to remember to brink original travel documents to the port. Where do I find these? I don't see them via my planner or a link on the app. 2nd question - we have "The Key" for this cruise. Both my husband and our SetSail Pass show up in the App with the key icon but mine also says "Expedited Arrival", his does not. What does this mean since with Key we get priority boarding anyway and why would his not say this? Thanks so much!
  8. Question for anyone who has sailed Allure and had their itinerary changed to Puerto Rico (because of the engine issue ) with the super early port hours was it apparent the shops and the forts adjust their business hours to accommodate the short port hours or did they operate as normal? Our itinerary change for November was just announced and we will be in PR from 7:00 - 1:00 instead of St. Kitts. While I love PR as a port of call, unless the hours are adjusted by the businesses that leaves very little time. I know if I was a shop owner I would adjust my hours for a 6000 passenger ship. What did you experience?
  9. Sure would like to know which three port stops are being cancelled for each Island.
  10. How did you learn of the drink card? Any limits to the type of drinks?
  11. You can't see the 2021 bookings either for Breakaway. I could last night. My TA and I were pricing different cabins and I went to look at a few this morning and they are gone.
  12. They are skipping St. Thomas simply because the docking situation there requires more thrust power which can't be achieved with the 3rd azipods down. It has nothing to do with St. Kitts.
  13. A member of our FB cruise group for our Nov 10th cruise called RC today and was told that any cruise having changes has been notified either via the travel agent that booked them or individually if you did it yourself. Only cruises through Oct 2019 so far are having this change made as of today. While I understand everyone's disappointment in the change, it is in writing when you book that RC can change a cruise itinerary at any time for any reason and when you book and make the deposit you are agreeing to this.
  14. We don't sail until November and the prices on full and half have dropped significantly. I just called and for $6 I went from half to full day.
