  1. Hi, Has anyone ever been to Bacab Eco Park? It is an eco park about 25 minutes from Belize City. There are several excursions from Carnival where you can go there and either horseback ride, ride bikes, or kayak. We would like to kayak at this park. Has anyone been to this place? Thanks Everyone!! We sail in 6 days - Carnival Valor :D
  2. Thanks for responding! We will be on the Carnival Valor, sailing from Miami on 5/25. My kids would like to have a basket delivered for my husband, something non-alcoholic, and I wanted to have some wine delivered. Will Carnival let these types of items be delivered to our room?
  3. Hi, What companies in Miami will deliver gift baskets to the ship before sailing? I had read some older threads about this, but many of the companies listed did not exist anymore. I would like to have some gifts delivered for my husbands 50th birthday and I was hoping to save money by using an outside company, instead of the expensive cruise line gift. Does anyone know if you can have alcohol delivered in a gift basket from an outside company? Will the ship keep the alcohol until the cruise is done? Thanks everyone!!
  4.  Hi - We did an inside guarantee and we were sad to find out we really did not get good cabins. We got two cabins on the Riviera Deck (Valor), cabins 1414 and 1442. Cabin 1414 is right next to the stairs!! I am really worried about this. Can anyone tell me if the noise will be bad? Did you hear kids running up and down, people late at night? Are these both horrible cabins??? :( Sailing in 17 days!
  5. Hi, I booked at cruise on 4/8, and have not yet bought my insurance, we sail 5/25. I know now that it will not cover any pre-existing conditions. But, can you tell me if my 97 year old Grandma were to pass away, would that be covered? She is in great shape, lives along (two story house!) drives, and is doing wonderful. She does of course take medicine (blood pressure, cholesterol, etc). Would insurance consider her death a "pre-existing" condition? Old age, and taking meds, is that pre-existing?? I would buy the insurance if I knew that her death would be covered (cancel trip, get off ship, etc). Please help!!! Thanks Everyone!! :)

  7. We are going on the Western, leaving 5/25. It is my husband's 50th Birthday and my children and I are surprising him with the cruise. It is so hard to keep it a secret from him - I am dieing to tell him! :) I cannot wait!! :)
  8. Thank you! I was thinking the same thing. I appreciate you posting! I hope you enjoyed your cruise! :)
  9. Hi, Can anyone tell me what time you got off the Valor (Miami)? I filled out our e-docs and said we were going to pick up a rental car. After reading the posts I wonder if it is best to get a shuttle (or quality limos) from the port to FLL airport. I reserved a mini-van with Dollar (used KISSE) for $50, we are 5 people. Our flight is at 2:00 from FLL. I was thinking we would have hours to kill, but it sounds like the process of getting a rental car is hectic, and time consuming. Need your advice - rent a car, or do the shuttle? Quality Limo was $70 for a shuttle. Thanks Everyone! :)
  10. Thanks everyone! We have already paid for the cruise, does the travel agent (or carnival) let you change cabins if the price is the same? Any advice? Thanks again!
  11. Hi, I currently am booked in an inside cabin, on the Panorama deck - Valor sailing on 5/25. I notice the prices on the ocean views have come down, and it looks like for the same price I can get an ocean view on the Riviera Deck. Which should I do? Keep the inside on the Panorama deck (higher deck up), or go to the bottom of the ship (Riviera) for the ocean view window? Thanks Everyone! I just can't decide!
  12. Thank you everyone! It sounds like we have a cabin in a great location. I love the idea of being close to the pool. Easy to run back and make another drink. ;) It sounds quiet, great! Thank you! Hi Ellenmb - See you on 5/25!
  13. Thanks Boowaaccaa!!! Sounds like we might have a good location. Thanks again!
  14. HI, We are booked on the Valor, sailing 5/25 from Miami. We have an inside stateroom, #1045 on the Panorama Deck. Is this a good deck? I worry with the pool slide on the same deck that we might have a lot of noise, and kids running through the hall. Comments? Thoughts?
