How much does Celebrity charge Airport Transfer post cruise in Miami?
Thanks!
I believe it was $16 per person. Check your Planner for the current fee.

sounds like booking Edge might have been a mistake.
You want to cruise the other way around. Start with Edge and then move from there to the Beyond and Ascent. You should notice the difference but you will have a good time.

Shrinkage is caused by sea air not the laundry or what you eat😂
My friend gained 15 points on a cruise. Did his clothes shrink?

We had nonrefundable OBC to use. There was a long line and we were told that we had to wait for busses to return from the airport. Very slow. The only advantage was that we used OBC. The cost was similar to UBER or one of the ride share vans.

Laundry return was slow on the Apex. Supposedly in by 9 and return the next day. Was not the case for us. Try 2 days.

If I pre-purchase the wash & fold service for my wife and me, would we be able to send our laundry in on embarkation day (first day of the cruise) and expect it back the next day?
What is the capacity of one laundry bag for this service?
Thanks.
You should be able to get it back towards the end of the next day if you pay an additional charge. Otherwise, expect your laundry back on the following day. (Day 3)
As mentioned, you can fit approximately 30 items more or less depending on the sizes.

Which ship ? I found the Persian gardens disappointing even though I got a free entry - wouldn’t pay much for it
I did not care for the experience on the M class ships. However, as you move through the S class, they are better. I think they are really nice on any of the E class ships. I suggest trying before committing for a whole week or more.

Im going on a 7 day Caribbean cruise on Excel in February. When do they usually offer the $40 laundry sale during the cruise?
Thanks
The prices I quoted are pre-cruise. On some cruises, there may not be 'specials' and we have received notes to check for packages with your room attendant. If there are 'specials', they appear on Day 3 or 4.

Interesting. Im going on a 7 day Caribbean cruise on the Excel in February and I had that same laundry question. I just looked in the app and the cost is $55 per bag. Man, $59.99 is offered as a "special"? Man, to me, that's a lot.
Do you remember when during the cruise that the laundry service was offered? Thanks
The laundry service was available daily. If you submitted the items before 9 am, you would usually get the items back the next day. There was a last day for the service which was about 2 or 3 days before the end of the cruise.
Prices have really increased as I remember specials in the $20's. There is also an a la carte menu for individual items.

@desibee enjoying your review. Thinking about this cruise but in the other direction. What would you say are the demographics of the cruise? Last year on our Norway and Arctic Circle Cruise the guests were much, much older than say on a Med cruise. I ask because we would likely be sailing with a 21 and 23 year old. Thanks.
Head down to your local nursing home for like demographics.

Will be on the Ascent duing Thanksgiving. Does anyone know if there will be any theme night parties? If so what kind?
There is typically a 'shine the night' party where some will wear their shiny outfits, hats, etc. Most do not dress up. Also, we have experienced ABBA sing alongs, Motown night, Disco.

Could someone tell me you how much the Persian Garden costs for a 12 night cruise and if I can purchase this before the cruise. I am not seeing an option for this in my online planner. Also is there an options to get a discount for prepaying for laundry services. Also not seeing this online. Thanks.
Check your Cruise Planner under Spa and Wellness ---gifts and Extras. The Persian Garden costs about $30 a day which comes out to about $360. There is a discount on the laundry running about $40 per bag.

There is only one Captain Kirk. He will be on the Adventure of the Seas next February. (Star Trek The Cruise)

Depends on the venue. Our butler mentioned on a recent cruise that he wasn’t able to get reservations for one of his guests for any time in Eden. They were fully booked. You would be better to handle as soon as you board the ship.
On our cruise, butler was not able to get any reservation in Eden. There was even a wait list. So there is no guarantee. So if it is a special occasion, then book now with $$$.

I was impressed with how well dressed people were in the dining venues after the Solstice updates. Way better dressed than I've been seeing on Celebrity lately.😀
I also noticed that. There were no people in dining venues wearing baseball caps and jeans.

There's no onboard cooking. Hot plates aren't allowed.
I saw a few rice cookers on the naughy table in Miami.
'I have chaned several times with refundable deposits and there was no penalty. Thankfully, it worked out!

Maybe the Something Big news is that they will have a couple of cruisers over 40 years of age in their new commercials.

Maybe the OP ordered "crispy rice". Now that is an excellent dish. Nothing like the cereal.

Cpt Kirk and his wife and kids were on the Beyond last week.
He and his family were all over the ship meeting and talking with people each night. He attends all shows. He is very personable. We were at a Zenith lunch. Whether you believe him or not he said all the Captains were waiting to hear who would get the assignment.
Would you expect him to say anything different?

I take the approach to try foods that I rarely or never eat at home when on a cruise. It is rare for me to have the same breakfast on a cruise whereas I have the same breakfast when at home. There are so many quality choices when cruising.

OK that makes a lot of sense. I guess he goes by the nickname Kirk?
BTW,did you understand the above reference about being born in Iowa?
Yes. Riverside Iowa. Birthplace of the "real" Captain Kirk.

Drinks package upgrade
in Celebrity Cruises
Posted · Edited by keesar
You may want to wait until on the ship as there may be deals to be made for upgrades. Or you could wait for a real sale around a major holiday.
Currently, I can upgrade for less than $10 a day.
