  1. Thank you for posting! We are Platinum with NCL and booked Majesty to sail in May to experience NOLA and sailing out of it. I was a little worried until I read your post. Can't seem to find too much info on the website, but that could certainly could be me! I did read on CC that you could bring 2 bottles of wine on board per stateroom. Do you know if you pack it in your luggage or carry it on? Thanks again for your review.
  2. Hope you and your Mom have recovered as we head in to the holiday season! My husband has recovered although we both seem to have residual coughs!
  3. How ridiculous is the tissue thing?? We were on the 13 day sailing with you. My husband came down with pneumonia and we were told we couldn't get tissues! And it's not like they sell them on the ship! No wonder everywhere you went people were coughing and sniffling! But to be fair, they did give us 2 boxes after I inquired at customer service desk!
  4. We were on the 10/28 sailing and had the "easy" drink package. We had frozen drinks daily by asking for the alcohol free frozen drink with a shot of rum or whatever alcohol was appropriate to the drink. Same with bloody marys. Buffet was very good, especially the pizza! All the children we saw in the main dining rooms seemed content with what they were ordering. Can't speak to the Kids Club....they don't allow senior citizens in!
  5. Thank you, NIKKI! Signed up for 28th sailing Meet and Mingle so I assume we'll be notified where and when!
  6. We are sailing 10/28. How soon before that date can I expect to get our travel documents? TIA
  7. Just off The Gem today. We had an inside and had no problem. We always have the bed separated into two singles and it gives you plenty of room down the center to move around. In fact, we celebrated Mass with 4 others in the cabin (travelled with a priest) with no problem.
  8. OP, did you consider the Gem which sails out of Boston? We are doing the 14 day Caribbean sailing on March 29th. I don't anticipate many spring breakers or school vacationers due to the length of the cruise and it's so convenient sailing round trip Boston!
