We received the dreaded 'Itinerary Change' email yesterday, but it only related to departure time from Stockholm. It has been brought forward to 3pm so that we can do the scenic cruising of the archipelago in daylight! Should be nice!
This is a wonderful itinerary change. The Archipelago scenery is still amongst the most remembered in our cruising adventures.

Booked an obstructed verandah, CO upgrade to Spa Verandah….2 weeks out offered upsell to Neptune for the difference between CO and the upsell. So, to compare…the only variable that i can refer to is the Neptune Lounge and size of the suite. Same dining room (Rotterdam);same embarkation schedule as 4/5 and CO. We are using CO for our verandah suite on NS June/24. I would highly recommend the purchase of CO.

I must say that i am somewhat frustrated with attempts to access my account on the website. Our excursions for June /24 UK itinerary were cancelled due to itinerary changes. We did receive an email advising us of these changes and were assured that we would have the credits returned to our account (HIA). Ever since this communication I cannot access my booking. Has anyone any experiences; and /or a resolution to this?
TIA

Keep her in good shape for us please. Boarding in Amsterdam on October 7th 👍
On the TransAtlantic?? I have a bucket list and either a TranAtlantic or TransPacific are inching ever closer to the top of my list. Cousin and I have 7 days in Amsterdam and the environs before returning to Terra Canuck.

We are on the Viking Saga departing from Amsterdam on September 16 on the Rotterdam Vll

The Neptune Suite guests on the Pinnacle class of ship use the Club Orange for both breakfast and Dinner. We were huge fans of breakfast in Pinnacle on the Old Rotterdam (Baltic) and Statendam (Alaska Landcruise), but will be very happy with this perk.

I will take this opportunity to describe our recent experience with the Club Orange pass purchase. My cousin and I purchased the pass for the Viking Saga scheduled for Sept.16th. We booked an obstructed balcony and was upgraded to a VQ on deck 10. Received an upswell to a Neptune suite for $C622 pax, Long story short. Our awesome TA contacted Hal. We are now in a Neptune suite for the difference of the CO pass and the Upsell. Beyond excited!

I wouldn’t equate this to a Cellar Master dinner. It’s a different experience IMO than the regular Cellar Master (which I have really enjoyed)
The Cellar Masters introduced me to the term “Amuse Bouche”, I am sooo open to any epicurean experience!

I do have a question re: the menu. Do we receive all of the menu; or what we choose. I will admit freely, that the menu iseems to be very sophisticated and I would be challenged to make an educated choice.

I asked about De Librije a while ago. The thread I started might be helpful. I thought some of the answers were.
Thanks so much much for the referral. We have enjoyed the Cellar Masters dinner on our Baltic cruise some years ago. My cousin and I are looking forward to enjoying an experience that our moms would be absolutely ecstatic to enjoy!

I'm Club Orange. Just printed my luggage tags and I do not see PRIORITY anywhere on them.
We are scheduled for Sep16/23 on the Rotterdam and our CO boarding pass show priority. Not concerned re: luggage tags. The checked luggage will arrive in our cabin at some point. We have essentials in our carryons!

If you are on a Pinnacle class ship, at least one forward elevator goes to the secret deck. I forget which it is on Koningsdam, but on Rotterdam it's port.
We are cruising on the Rotterdam; and we will keep this secret, as well. Many negative comments re: the size of the balconies with this category, but I am still going to take my relaxation time enjoying the Fjords.

Using a Club Orange category upgrade, we are on one of these cabins September/23. We purchased the Thermal Spa pass. There are a some small perks (from what I have been told); but spa access is a purchased item.

Thanks everyone for the help. I ended up upgrading to Club Orange. For my 7 day cruise I was told I'd get $50 OBC if no room upgrade was available.
Originally booked in VA, was upgraded to my choice of V rooms. I ended up booking V5048 as it has a huge verandah plus it is a "sideways" room and looks like it has a large picture window in addition to the door to the balcony. Seems like that plus the Club Orange dining room makes it worth $175.
I don't see anywhere on my reservation that I have Club Orange (but the stateroom has changed). Does it ever show up before boarding?
We are reserved for this room June 2024. We were upgraded from an obstructed verandah to this with Club Orange. I, too am interested in the configuration of the room…the verandah is certainly ample for an additional seating ( would love a full lounger ).

Was it busy in the mornings? like between 7-9 AM, getting old sucks and I typically spend my mornings with a cup of coffee and in the hot tub first thing in the morning so I can get my body working, the pain in the morning is rough and not thinking any hot tubs will be open that early
The time of day may be determined by sea days vs a port. I have found that the spa passes are not oversold. I have never been disappointed when I have a visit.

The time request is something messed up on the website. No time is required. You go as you please once you book it for the week. If they require you enter a time, just stick something in there. I'm 99% sure it will be ignored.
We are also booked in September. The spa is open for your pleasure. The heated loungers are very popular; so limiting your usage is appreciated; if there are others in the area. Otherwise the other amenities are at your pleasure.

Book your HIA dinner in Pinnacle. Then book her on a separate reservation same time in the Pinnacle. As soon as you board, let the hostess at the Pinnacle know and they can fix it so you dine together.
Exactly our experience onboard the Nieu Statendam September 2022. The reservation staff will make this happen.

I am a huge fan of the thermal spa ( booked in September Viking Saga) but I did pass on the Panama Canal itinerary for the busy port schedule. Same ship; same itinerary…you will sooo enjoy this cruise. DH’s most favourite cruise to date!

They have adhesive strips included -- but we found command strips or tacky putty work to hold them in place longer. https://www.amazon.com/Plasti-Tak-Original-Re-usable-Adhesive-Putty/dp/B075KQ9KYV/ref=sr_1_63?crid=ZFYMVN0OLFE6&keywords=tacky+putty&qid=1688740479&sprefix=tacky%2Caps%2C129&sr=8-63
I will add an adhesive magnet strip…should be strong enough to placed on ant of the walls!

There were several small signs in various spots. Definitely ask at the spot where you make specialty dining reservations when you board. DH had it on both the Noordam and the Nieuw Statendam.
We have Club Orange for dinner…I wonder if this could be requested at this venue…YUM!!

I stayed in a spa veranda on NS. I did use the spa so it worked for me. The amenities are not what was advertised and the balcony smaller than the normal balcony rooms. I would stay again because I use the thermal spa and I liked the ease of getting out to the deck 10 pool deck and ease to get to lido etc.
We are in a spa on the Rotterdam in September. We are also fans of the thermal spa. This upgrade was due to a Club Orange upgrade. I have never used this category; and am looking forward to enjoying the proximity to the spa. The size of the balcony is not a real concern.

You receive one point for each sailing day. Additionally you receive 1 point for every $300 spent above and beyond the fare except taxes, port fees, airfare and hotels and transfers booked pre or post cruise
Somewhere it was reported that adding Club Orange doubles the sailing days credits.

So many questions…currently three star, and am on a 7 day Norwegian cruise in Sweptember. Here are my questions: I have Club Orange as an add-on to a verandah. Also have additional onboard charges for two $400 excursions and two Sel be Mer dinners and two Thermal Spa . How many additional days will be earned???
East or West Transatlantic?
