  1. I just received my second upgrade offer.... They really want my cabins! LOL
  2. When you are in line, outside, is there a distinct line for FTTF? Is it well marked? Thank you for the video! It was awesome
  3. Nov 12th voyage. *When getting off at ports, were they pretty organized, or was it tough to get off at the advertised times? (PR, DR, StMartin is our itinerary) *Were there any events at the Central Stage worth really going to sit and watch? I'm a musician, and love all kinds of music. But carnival activities may not be my cup of tea... *I understand there are USB ports in the cabins now - is there still only one outlet, though? Thx! ~Marci
  4. Good question - I grabbed my FTTF early May for my November Celebration sailing...
  5. I will never book a cabin under a public area again. The chairs.... they move them early early to clean the deck. Its not pleasant. Just sayin....
  6. We are staying at the Hilton in November. Any information that would be helpful? Thank you.
  7. Here's hoping that your cruise portion will be all you imagined. We had a rough experience with Celebrity/Alaska with very blatant ignorant/prima donna passengers and management with no backbone to put a stop to said weeklong behavior. Hopefully it was an isolated "group" - because Alaska is beautiful, and the serenity and majesty should be enjoyed without exterior circumstances.
  8. I wonder if the charge for more than 3 entree's is helping with the waste...??
  9. It appears the chilled peach soup is gone, as well.
  10. If you cannot add it to your cart, it may be sold out and nor available. Sorry 😞
  11. I have been on both. One and done with Celebrity - not that they offer a lesser quality product than Carnival - but the fact that they attract a "different" crowd and fail to MANAGE said "different" crowd. So for me - I will take drunk/unruly kids all day long. Carnival is my choice.
  12. I have had many afts and aft wrap balconies over the years - (at least 5) - and never even seen any soot. The lack of air flow, and in the direct sun - yes. But no soot. Dream, Legend, Vista, Liberty, Splendor. There must be other factors than just being an Aft Cabin.
  13. Had some friends on another "company" cruise, and was sick on day 2 - confined to their balcony for the entire 8 day cruise. Picked it up from the airport/airplane based on stats. Its still out there... precautions are never wrong; just be aware. 🙂
  14. Bonaire - Do some research there. That is one of the best diving locations. Do not be afraid to book a not-cruise ship "excursion" - just do your research, and ask lots of questions with the company(s) to talk to. They are used to cruise ship passengers hanging out with them. If yo go to Youtube - Type in Bonaire Live - you will find an underwater webcam in Harbour Village. If you watch that for a few, you will be chomping at the bit to go! Good luck!
  15. Our preference will always be Aft. The only time noise was a factor is when we booked directly under the pool deck. We always put a floor of cabins between our cabin and a high traffic area. Never had any soot, love the views! Different strokes for different folks.
  16. Loved the Bruch Menu - My son will be disappointed - no Frosted Flakes French Toast. (um.....yuk) Hes talked about that for years!!
  17. FTTF always when available. No one wants to drag around their carry on stuff... 🙂
  18. On another cruise line, the disrespect and discriminations towards US citizens was the most horrid thing I have ever seen. We are ALL people - you dont need to physically push anyone aside or be horrible to other people that may not be your nationality. I was shocked. But it does happen.
  19. This information is outstanding! Thank you for your time and work to create this!
  20. Nothing like looking over your deck of your cabin (not an aft, obviously) to watch the water, or see the flying fish, and seeing a tray of dirty dishes, swim trunks (hope they were swim trunks), remnants of a newspaper flapping around - on the Havannah deck below. Vista was not my favorite.
  21. I assure you - Carnival is not the "bottom of the barrel" LOL Your cruise will be what you make of it. Galveston is a beautiful little city - Watch for the dolphins playing on your way out of the bay
