  1. Maybe. Depends on size, etc. Will you be using aboard? That's usually a no. If solely for port - maybe. Look into the smaller ones that clip on a chair and can fit right into your luggage..
  2. Buying in advance allows for "free" medallion shipping, and "free" specialty restaurant booking. Onboard purchase - refund $10 for medallion shipping, and left with available times, if any, for specialty dining. Your choice. Same price either way.
  3. What specific Sun marketed suite perks are missing? (And by that, I don't mean from the suite perk page, given it's generic and covers all their ships, which all have some solid deviations from each other - Concierge Lounge, Signature Lounge, no lounge, Thermal Suite, no Enclave, and so forth). What was specific to the Sun that's missing in any description/listings at this point - beyond the Sanctuary Sun deck? I admit - I don't have a dog in this as I haven't booked a suite on Sun or Star, although I do book them in older ships (or have been generously upgraded in recent years).
  4. 3rd and 4th berth will be set up like this..it's a flip over sofa and a Pullman berth..

  6. There's no changes for you The "Sanctuary Class" changes do not take affect til the Sun hits the Caribbean late October 2024 Check the Suite perks page on the website: https://www.princess.com/en-us/ships-and-experience/ships/staterooms/suites
  7. Same link as above, BTW....takes you to same page.
  8. Current bookings, ie any bookings prior to today, do NOT get the Premier Cruise Package included (nor subject to price hike). So, if you want it for the 3rd passenger, you'd still have purchase it separate. In the FAQs: https://www.princess.com/en-us/ships-and-experience/onboard-experience/sanctuary-collection?cid=mkt_vanityurl_vanityurl_sanctuary_sanctuarycollection_mixed_na_na_na
  9. The Sanctuary on Sun is 16 and up, including the Signature Sun deck area of it . And yes, it sucks for those who have minors in their suites as that's a perk they can't use.. while a 6 year old may or may not care, a 15 year old probably would care.
  10. Assuming you bought the package after Dec 14, 2022 - you're all set. Casual dining, room service and Ocean Now delivery don't show up on the travel summary as part of the package info, but they 100% are such.. If your travel summary lists juice bar, premium desserts, etc - you're good to go
  11. There was orange , apple and some berry flavored Absolut and some flavored Smirnoff aboard last time I was aboard, along with seltzers. Can't remember if there was any flavored Ketel.. they are very extensively stocked bars. Drink menus and copies of spirit lists have been posted numerous times (neither of which is completely comprehensive, as obviously, given the right material, the bartender can mix just about anything).
  12. ALL of the benefits of either bundled Cruise Package are per person for those who've purchased it. (Only first 2 passengers in cabin must buy, in the event of 3 or 4 passengers per cabin).
  13. If you buy the Plus or Premier Cruise Package aboard the ship in Australia/NZ, it's the Australian/NZ package and daily crew appreciation is not included in those packages - and the lower price reflects that. ($65aud being approximately $42usd, give or take some change. Or, approximately the difference of upper end crew appreciation per day). If you bought the package before you leave, ie in advance of sailing, at the USD $60/80 price, it'll include the daily crew appreciation...but you wouldn't be able to use OBC for it. No package - yes, daily crew appreciation is charged aboard.
  14. Yes. Thermal Suite access is a perk, on ships with the Thermal Suite. On ships with the Enclave, the "new" and improved version with hydro pool and such, no - it is not a suite perk (all ships from Royal in through Sun - not a suite perk).
  15. No, it is not yet open. And no, there's no official word on when it will be open.
  16. Where is the International Cafe on Diamond?
  17. Have a Martinique sailing coming up later this year, and probably at least 2 more next year. The demographics aboard are very different than the US based sailings. Much closer to what they were in US sailings more than 10 years ago or so, although even heavier on French and Caribbean. They're hugely popular with Caribbean nationals as we don't need US or Schengen visas (French Overseas Territory and all), and many can fly directly from their island for pretty cheap, or take the ferry, even less expensive.... You'll get a much more diverse demographic, for sure... Port intensive though! Doesn't bother us at all, given where we live - but for those who want to experience every port, can be tiring.... Definitely give it a try for some variety...
  18. Great, thanks, that's good to know.. both cabins have Diamond members in them, but we'll still probably aim for 12 or 1.. not fussed about lunch or such, just didn't want to miss the entire first day!! Many thanks...
  19. If you're wanting some beach and swim time at a very uncrowded beach, have your cat captain sail past the Pitons to Anse I'Vorgne, on the south side of Gros Piton. Crystal clear water, virtually no one on the beach ever, no facilities either really.. It's stunning though, and shallow enough to swim and snorkel around a bit in peace...
  20. OP didn't ask about cabanas in their post... $250 or so in older ships, all day. $499 on Sun. Prices are for 2 in Cabana, not pp.
  21. Only alcoholic drinks count towards the 15 a day Yes, Premier and Plus Cruise Packages include a lot more than All In on Celebrity, etc. Casual dining on Regal will be Alfredo's, Vines, Ocean Terrace Seafood. With premier, unlimited casual dining in those venues.. the Vines charcuterie is fab with a nice wine... Specialty Dining will be Crown Grill, steakhouse, or Sabatini's, Italian style. Both good to very good, not as fancy or upscale or as expensive as Celebrity specialty dining.. Personally, no way I'd book my airfare through Princess EZ Air unless it was a major discount.. I prefer keeping my air under my control.. I VRBO in Southampton, more space, less $$$. And, if my family can't take me to Southampton, I use BlackBerry Cars - especially now with Smith's out of business (they were my go to for LGW - Southampton transfers). Meet and greet and door to door are the name of the game for me! There's bus or train to Southampton also though, both reliable and much more inexpensive.. Have a great time - Regal is my favorite ship with Princess.. you're in for a treat!!
