I have the same problem. I can't get the mariner pricing. This had happened a few months ago. They fixed it but now it is back to the same problem again. And, if you call, the agents sometimes don't have the fare either. But if you can somehow get to a pricing specialist, they have the private fares. It shouldn't have to be this hard.
I agree that travel agents can save you money. I used to get 8 to 10 percent off my fare. But, it was too much of a hassle if any changes had to be made. I would rather not save the money and be in charge of my own booking.
I also agree that PCC do not have the ability to save you money or add perks.
Broward General Hospital is very close to Port Everglades (five or ten minute drive). When you arrive back in Fort Lauderdale you could go to the emergency room. You would get immediate attention for your pain.
I also cannot see my private fares on the HAL website. I used to be able to find them on a travel agency web site but not anymore. I don't know why HAL can't fix its website.
They used to just change the fare but recently they are wanting to rebook. You could try calling again and will maybe get another answer. But be careful about losing your promos which may or may not be better than the one you are trying to get.
Did you get Crew Appreciation with your Black Friday sale? If so, that will probably go away if you rebook? Make sure this is a better sale before you change.
New promo is 30% off and free balcony upgrade. But, it looks like you have to take the HIA option to get the upgrade. Also, the old promo was 40% off so the price has increased. And, it only applies to certain dates in 2023 and 2024.
That's what the bartenders told me. They said passengers were complaining they didn't receive the drinks and that is why they were requiring the signatures.
I know about the rotating snacks depending on time of day. They did have cold sandwiches at lunch time. But it was really diminished from what it used to be - certainly no shrimp or good snacks. The other problem is this was a 7 day cruise on the Nieuw Amsterdam. Maybe a longer cruise on a Pinnacle class ship would be better.
I was surprised that the snacks in the Neptune Lounge on the Nieuw Amsterdam were much less appealing and plentiful than before covid. They now only have cold cuts and cheese, pretzels, potato chips and nuts. They used to have fancy appetizers and special treats.
The signature suites and neptune suites on the pinnacle class ships are much more expensive than the rest of the fleet so I would expect their upgrade offers to cost more.
Did anyone notice that the Manhattan lighting fixture in the atrium didn't have the changing lights anymore? I was sure if they were broken or they just didn't turn them on.
They mention that you will receive a bonus $100 onboard credit on or before January 31 when you pay in full by January 3. Does this mean they do not give you the credit right away and you have to hope that they will give it to you weeks after you make final payment? HAL does not have a good track record for following through with their promises.
I was surprised not to get the tote bags on my last two cruises. First was on the Nieuw Statendam last April where they said it was a supply chain issue. Next was on Nieuw Amsterdam in November where we should have received the nice Club Orange bag because we were in a Neptune Suite but it never showed up.
