  1. Day at sea and the ship's swaying her way towards Madeira. We have sun, but rain is almost inevitable tomorrow, according to the forecast. But even though the weather is unpredictable, the Explorer continues to provide the highest standard of service and hospitality. I'm enjoying every minute of this voyage.
  2. We are experiencing excellent service in every area of the ship. And sometimes they can even be almost too attentive. (There are 635 passengers on this crossing.) In every restaurant and bar and really anywhere on the ship, every request has been addressed immediately. Was it because Jason Montague was onboard until we reached Bermuda this morning? Perhaps, but I'd like to think it's because we have a great crew who has learned how to work together well. Bravo, team Explorer!
  3. No difficulty at all. There was a 10:45 a.m. wine tasting and I asked Georgiana, the head sommelier, if I could have a list. She promptly asked me what my suite # was and it was delivered in the late afternoon.
  4. Nothing is in place at this time. Bottled water is still being provided in the suites.
  5. Lots of motion on the ocean today as we head towards Bermuda. The sea seems to be getting rougher as the day heads unto evening. Block party tonight! Looking forward to meeting our neighbors.
  6. Loved meeting everyone today! I think we had a good turnout. Hope to see everyone again throughout our journey to Lisbon.
  7. Haven't had any issues with the wifi so far. (Maybe because Jason Montague is on board with his wife and son. 😉) And we understand that it can be slow at times, especially out in the middle of nowhere, but no problems to report at this time on our way to Bermuda.
  8. Loving this ship! 7th time on Regent, but first time on Explorer. It's beautiful and the service has been impeccable. Enjoyed meeting everyone at the M&M this morning.
  9. I know I asked about the champagne(s) in a different thread, but is Regent still pouring Heidsieck Monopole Blue Top at the bars and Jacquart Brut Mosaïque in the cabins?
  10. FYI - If the shipboard credit comes from a TA, you don't necessarily need to spend it during the cruise. Non-RSSC credit is often refundable in cash before the end of the cruise. Check with the Purser's office. (If you don't use it, it's like a cash rebate.)
  11. It should be on your cruise documents. It will be itemized as: Group Amenities $500 Spa or Shipboard Credit per Suite If the shipboard credit is from your TA and not Regent, then I would check with your travel agent.
  12. Thanks so much for taking the time to post this! I hope you're having a splendid cruise. Are you disembarking in Miami or continuing on to Lisbon?
  13. Launderettes are available on most decks and detergent, fabric softener, etc. is complimentary. Sea days are the most popular days, so be prepared to wait for washer/dryers on those days unless you get there very early.
