  1. I'll be honest. I really dislike the Internet by the minute. On more than one occasion I didn't get logged off (either because of my oversight or a system fault). A visit to Guest Relations and they always sorted it, but I decided some time ago that I'd pay for the unlimited to save me the stress of watching those minutes count down.amd forego the free minutes I was given. Obviously it does depend upon how much you use it, but for me the unlimited was the way to go. Phil

  3. This really is not good enough. Azamara need to sort this out. I can deal with wrong loyalty points because I know I haven't lost them. They are there. But the servicing of guest bookings, either by them personally or through their travel professional needs fixing and fast. I book direct and am still waiting for an invoice to be corrected to show the use of an FCC. Phoned and then emailed. No reply to email so I will need to chase. I can't even access the booking online. Yes, I too am getting frustrated, but at least I book my own flights and transfers. Phil
  4. The other thing is that I respond much better to diagrams and pictures rather than lists. I like to see where the cabin is, not just be given a list of numbers of staterooms that are available. That is meaningless to me. Phil

  6. I think a lot of the drama is more to do with individuals than the website. And I do have a horse in the race. I'm trying to use my FCC at the moment. My status and points were wrong (but are now fixed). Just have to stick with it and I'll get there. I know Azamara are not trying to fiddle me. Phil
  7. Why do you think your loyalty level needs to be restored to get your wifi discount? It's just website accounting. You haven't lost your level. The ship will know what status you have and will act accordingly with your benefits. Or if not you can sort it out there. I think you are worrying unnecessarily. Phil

  9. I've done that voyage. The scenery is spectacular, but of course it's a drive by. We saw some penguins, but I don't recall much whale activity near us. I've never had much luck whale spotting. Tried it in Hawaii and the same result. Very little action to see. But the Antarctica cruise was very special. Phil
  10. On a number of cruises I haven't had the final invoice left in the door so this isn't new. I do keep a tab of it on the TV though so as not to be "surprised". Phil
  11. Rhetorical questions like that posed by the OP serve no purpose here. I also think there is a Cruise Critic rule on Cruiseline bashing. Whilst there are some issues, it's time for some to move on and deal with them in a grown up manner. Jmho. Phil

Apart from the fact you don't answer the question. To the OP, go and speak to the Maitre d' about your requirements. My experience of Azamara is that they are only too willing to accommodate wherever possible. Phil
  17. A tip from what I do. Download the Marine Traffic app and then on the morning of going to the ship do a search and find it on the map and you can show your driver where exactly it is. Useful with large ports like Piraeus. I've used it a lot of times on those occasions. Phil
  18. Nice idea Eric. I've used the bon voyage gifts before and they do a good job. I think the spa credit sounds like a great plan. Treatments in common with most places like this are expensive. A few years ago I posted an up to date price list on Quest. They've gone up since then. This looks like a good link. https://paulandcarolelovetotravel.com/azamara-spa-prices/ Just to say they do run specials throughout the cruise, especially for port days so if you decide to buy a spa credit then let your daughter and future son in law know this and get them to go and chat to the spa staff. They are helpful. In addition, if they sign up for and attend the spa chat on boarding day then they have a chance of winning a $500 spa credit. Worth a go. Phil

  20. From my experience I think that as far as loyalty level is concerned it's just a case of being patient of what is reported on the website. Mine was wrong (very wrong!) a few days ago, but is now correct on all the devices I use (iPad, iPhone and computer). It's why I resisted contacting Azamara about it. Phoning up querying that's it's not right will probably just bung up the phone lines even more. Phil
  21. My level and points are both incorrect when I log in using my iPhone, but correct when using the ipad or PC. Confusing. To the OP, I wouldn't be too concerned about the 30 day rule. You have much evidence that you have tried and I am sure that Azamara will not hold you to that once they know what has gone on. Phil
  22. It's all a bit of a mess. The loyalty points and level I can live with in the hope it is fixed (my points and status on the Celebrity login are correct and list all my past Azamara cruises, but not on the Azamara site), but the way the website now deals with new bookings is a real problem for me. I have to enter all my personal details every time I want a quote on a cruise. I followed Grandma Cruising's instructions on pulling down a list of cabins to choose, but once I selected an alternative I couldn't save it. Kept allocating me the same cabin. I'd have made my mind up and booked by now, but the new system is not working for me. Phil
