  1. These sunrise pictures are interesting. I have enjoyed a lot of midnight pizza on Crystal. I have never seen a sunrise.
  2. You learn about people when difficulties arise. I have learned that I have a lot of respect for Keith. Next time we are on Crystal together, let's be sure to say hello to each other. The last time was on a Los Angeles to Vancouver cruise via Hawaii on the Symphony in 2018. We would see you and your wife having a pre-dinner cocktail every evening in the Avenue Saloon while we sat at the bar talking to Teo. You seemed to be enjoying yourselves so we did not interrupt. Next time we'll say hi and if you do the Vintage Room, we'll be very happy if you'd allow us to join you.
  3. We are booked on a 2022 Panama Canal cruise from Miami to Los Angeles on Serenity. The ship then sails on a round trip to Hawaii with the final port being the obligatory foreign port to meet Jones Act requirements (specifically Passenger Services Act 46, USC section 289). We asked if a prorated continuation of our cruise was possible, allowing us to disembark in our home city of Honolulu. The answer was that Crystal would not prorate a portion of the Hawaii cruise and that the Jones Act would not allow a passenger to cruise from Los Angeles to Honolulu without a stop in a foreign port.
  4. Our back to back New England cruises in October (round trip New York) were canceled. We had already paid for both cruises in full. We always work directly with Crystal rather than deal with a travel agent. We already had a less expensive cruise booked in 2021. We used the 125% credit to pay for that cruise in full and had credit left over. We were able to put that toward an additional cruise, which we went ahead and booked. The only thing left to wait for is the port charges, which have to be refunded rather than applied as credit. Very painless one day process. As always, we are happy
  5. We are booked on back to back New England/Canada cruises on Serenity in October. Basically a 16 day round trip from New York. We expect it to happen on schedule. The only thing we have changed is we canceled our hotel reservations in NYC and canceled our flights. We had planned to arrive early and spend four nights in New York. That we will not do now. We'll fly from Honolulu overnight and let Crystal take us straight to the pier.
