  1. In 3020 presently. Perfect location for everything.
  2. On board presently. Just not going to be an issue. The lounge has very little participation , due from lengthy days of activities.
  3. We arrive at 11 am with the same statement that you could not check in until afternoon. We walked to front desk and ask for the first cleaned room. N/C. Unpacking by 11:30am
  4. On second day of Polaris Xmas run. So far in middle of Drake Passage and you don't even know you are on a ship. Food /service all up to Viking standards. Air, Hilton and transfers work like clockwork. Any questions ask away. Ate at Manfredis last night and food and service were great. Had lunch second day art World with lamb shanks, cordon blue. Korean b-cue and rice and vegetables. Maybe 20 people ate on this side and the line was 20 deep for Hamburgers, fries and rings on the other side.!!!!!
  5. The cost will be approximately $80 and allow multiple entry for 10 years (Canadians and Australians only get 5 years).
  6. On Polaris Dec 15th. If one brings self-stamped post cards, cam one mail back to themselves at post office stop.
  7. Does every stateroom have binoculars included. ....or do we bring our own.
  8. Wine /Beer included with lunch/dinner Bring all your favorite boozes and wine on board. No corkage. Have done Regent/Seabourn/Crystal. All great but just way more expensive than Viking.
  9. I'm a retired physician and have submitted three times with reply receipt. Never heard from them. I have printed and filled out the forms and just told quest services that I will have in hand when boarding.
  10. Do the Polaris and Octantis purposely cross paths in the archipelago.
  11. Always use the same agency who arranges a rebate check back to us at the end of the cruise. Much better than any OBC.
  12. me again....do the pants they provide give waterproof protection.
  13. Me again.. I'm assuming like other ships, that Viking offers a Polar Plunge one day.
  14. me again. What hotel is used in BA for lodging.
  15. Me again. Have flights booked with Viking Air. Arrive in BA morning, check in and rest. Assume morning breakfast is included before charter flight next day.?? Is dinner the night before?? Any particular piece of clothing that you feel is mandatory. Heated gloves/ heated Socks/balaclava
  16. Me again. After booking our itinerary shows tours from 1 pm to 8 pm. Is that correct. Do they not start in morning, have return to ship for lunch and then optional return in afternoon.
  17. Does the charter flight from BA to Ushuaia have a luggage fee?
  18. On Polaris doing 15 day run. Besides jacket and pants that's provided, what else does one pack for this kind of trip. Open to all suggestions. Does the charter flight from Buenos's Aires to Ushuaia, have a luggage fee.
  19. Chase Reserve. Your face looks familiar. I think you where the gentleman that done all the calculations. Please repeat and I will copy.
  20. I ask this question years ago and failed to keep copy. I received a reply that did the math for the benefits and that the points or cash back on the credit card was the best option. Can someone show me that formula again.
  21. Do the math..... Paying with CC which allows points to travel like air and hotel, if much better than cash back or 3% reduction.
  22. Tons of Ferries exist at Darling just like Quay.
  23. We just use IHG point for both. Doing CP since Viking is docked at White Harbor.
  24. We were able to sign up in advance for one of each activity - zodiac landing, special ops boat, sub, and kayak. Are these the free daily excursions, or does one paid for these. Assume all but sub would be included.
  25. Other site??? Maybe start and then fill in with *** and sure I can figure it out.
