C’mon who’s kidding who………… Greek Island Cruise 04 Sept - 14 Sept 2021. Booked... Club Spa Suite total price (cruise only) £8960, booking includes $900 OBC and $200 Spa Credit. Present Club Continent Suite offer with 30% discount, cost £11538(cruise only) Blatant overpricing to the extreme. Your choice.
  2. My wife and I have a cruise booked for December 2021 through a TA based in the North of England, they usually ask for final payment 120 days before embarkation as this is calculated as, quote “we take the balance 30 days prior to the cruise line due date to build on some late leeway for late payments etc”, though for the December cruise I was informed that they required final payment by 180 days prior to embarkation. On talking to the TA finance office to ask them to confirm if the company had changed its payment policy, the response I received was that this change was correct.
  3. Although Azamara is not running this promotion campaign you can still enter to gain points. For those guests who sail with Azamara and Celebrity Cruises will earn points for both Azamara Circle and Captain’s Club. It has worked for me in respect to after our next Azamara cruise next September I was 2 points short of moving up to Discoverer Plus but I have managed to gain 3 extra points through the Celebrity promo giving my wife and I the 750+ points required. That’s all well and good of course if Azamara is still sailing or the rules are changed in the near future!!
  4. I’ve been a ‘fly on the wall’ reading the interesting comments put forward by some long time sailing guests of Azamara and fully concur with all suggestions, comments and complaints on how Azamara has proceeded with the debacle of future cruising dates and late repayments of well earned cash. All that aside, I haven’t read anyone mentioning the repercussions of reduced guest occupancy once cruising starts. My wife and I have cruises booked for September and December 2021 and to date bookings for Suites & Staterooms are selling extremely well with approx 80% already sold.
  5. Thanks everybody for the info you all suggested. I'm going to choose a taxi transfer and leave the coach transfer out, due to heavy luggage, getting to the coach terminal at LHR and from Southampton Bus Terminal to the port. What I have gathered is to hire a taxi based in Southampton and not at LHR. Thanks Craig
  6. We are sailing on the Azamara Quest from Southampton (10 Sept 2020) and returning by air to Heathrow Airport. The question I have to ask is.......the best way for us is to leave our car at a park and stay hotel at Heathrow and then on return post cruise, collect our car from the hotel car park. So we need to get from a Heathrow hotel to Southampton on the morning of 10 September by taxi, can anyone suggest a reputable taxi/transfer company? Thanking you Craig
