  1. Yea, when I booked the Mardi Gras I thought the regular interior cabin would be too small for us, so I booked the premium interior that also has the couch. This will be our first ever interior, so we will see how it goes. LOL!!!
  2. Well I already rebooked, took all of 15mins to get everything transferred over, ended up with a Casino rate with drinks on us while in the Casino and $50 OBC from casino, also $300 OBC because of cancelled cruise. It took all of 30 seconds to connect with Carnival, not a bad wait time at all, I chose the prompt for booking a new cruise and they took very good care of me.😁
  3. Yep, just saw the email this morning and my February 2022 cruise is cancelled 😔 It was my free casino deal with drinks on us and $200 OBC....Bummer!!! But it's still showing in my cruise manager, I guess I will have to wait until October 2022 for my Mardi Gras Cruise. I'm not re-booking anything else unless it's already sailing. CANCELLATION UPDATE CARNIVAL SUNSHINE – JAN. 3 THROUGH AND INCLUDING JAN. 8, 2022 CARNIVAL LIBERTY – JAN. 3 THROUGH AND INCLUDING FEB. 7, 2022 CARNIVAL ECSTASY, PARADISE AND SENSATION – THROUGH AND INCLUDING FEB. 28, 2022 October 6, 2022 Dear Carnival Guest: With 17 ships scheduled to return to service by the end of the year, we are pleased with the progress we are making resuming our guest operations. However, we will continue to take a phased approach as we bring back the remainder of our U.S.-based fleet in the new year as we staff ships, train our crew on new operating protocols, and work on the many other issues related to the resumption of service. As a result, we will need some additional time for certain ships, and consequently, your cruise has been cancelled. We sincerely apologize for the disappointment. If you have yet to receive our bonus incentive package, you are eligible for our future cruise credit (FCC) and onboard credit (OBC) as noted below, or a full refund. If you already received this offer and have yet to use it, or it was applied to this booking, you can retain it for a future booking consistent with the terms below. We have fully automated your ability to make your choice online without having to call us. No matter how you purchased your cruise, you can submit your request via our online tool to allow for faster processing. However, if you’re working with a Carnival Personal Vacation Planner or a travel advisor, they may also be able to help answer your questions and explore options. Please make your selection using our online tool here. This is the most efficient way to submit your request, as calling will not expedite your refund. This offer is valid until March 31, 2022, for you to make a selection. If no selection is made by then, you will automatically receive an FCC.* This letter supersedes any previous offer you received. Whichever option you select will apply to all guests on your reservation. Regardless of the option you choose, your taxes, fees and port expenses, Carnival Vacation Protection, pre-paid gratuities, pre-purchased Carnival shore excursions, beverage and Wi-Fi packages, and Fun Shop purchases will be automatically refunded to the original form of payment. If you purchased your own flights for getting to your cruise, we encourage you to contact your airline or travel agent about your options as the airlines are also working to accommodate their passengers. Thank you for your continued understanding and support. We look forward to seeing you on board! Sincerely, Christine Duffy President, Carnival Cruise Line *The future cruise credit (FCC) is based on the cancellation fees retained by Carnival for this voyage, including Fly2Fun air if applicable. FCC and onboard credit (OBC) are combinable with all Carnival-offered fares, are non-transferable, non-refundable, cannot be used as a deposit or applied to a chartered sailing, have no cash value, and must be redeemed on a Carnival Cruise Line sailing departing by 9/30/2023. The FCC/OBC may only be used toward one (1) booking in the same currency in which the above voyage was originally paid. FCC cannot be used for taxes, fees & port expenses, Carnival Vacation Protection, onboard charges or gratuities and any unused portion will be forfeited. New OBC offer replaces any previous OBC offer and applies to new booking if made by 03/31/2022. The booking guest shall be responsible for payment of the difference between the amount of the FCC and the amount of the new booking if higher. After you have booked your new cruise, please use this link to provide us with the booking information so we can process your FCC. Contact Us • About Us • Privacy Notice • Unsubscribe
  4. Great News, have fun!!
  5. I almost ordered these a month ago for a cruise in Feb 2022, boy am I glad I waited, I just hope that more will be available by the time I need them. We have two cruises scheduled for 2022.
  6. I guess I will wait until Jan to try and purchase for our Feb 2022 and Oct 2022 cruise, I saw on the news where Biden has just ordered millions more test for the US, I'm just wondering will they be the required ones for travel (telehealth) or just the ones people need to be screened weekly for work.
  7. Where did you buy yours, I went to purchase and the site stated the kits expire Dec 2021, I don't cruise until Feb 2022. Thanks in advance.
  8. Per Carnival's website... While we had previously raised the possibility of more on-site testing at our terminals, the logistics of making this service widely available to a large number of guests does not make this a viable option. Nevertheless, we did want to provide these additional suggestions for our guests.
  9. It did kind of, there won't be any pre testing sites for the masses at the ports.
  10. Not what I really wanted to hear, I was looking forward to the convenience of being tested at the port. I just checked we have 5 quest locations in my city, at least that's a plus and they do in person testing. Also, I'm wondering where the link carnival is providing will connect you too?
  11. Thanks for posting, now I'm hungry😁
  12. Just read this article stating insurance coverage for Covid-19 testing will be expiring, I hope the link works. https://www.yahoo.com/news/covid-medical-bills-bigger-123920634.html
  13. I looked at these also, but the reviews were terrible, let me know how they fit.
  14. A little more reading revealed the answer to my question about third dose, I too have RA and I'm in a flare right now, a pretty bad one. I had my 2nd dose over 3 months ago, so I'm not sure if it's because of the vaccine. I will be asking about a booster as the delta variant has me a little worried.
  15. That would be fine with me, I actually prefer it be vaccinated cruises.
  16. I have never really gamble a whole lot of money, because if I'm losing I quit playing and try the next day, I think it's more about the points you accrue. I only play the slots and I could start with a $100 dollars and I can play a few hours on just that, wining some, giving back some, saving some for later in the eve or the next day. In all my cruises I have always come home with a $500 to $800 win, my husband calls it my part time job when we are on the ship.
