  1. We had forgotten about getting transport from the airport to the hotel when we went in September... thankfully, there are plenty of shuttles and you don’t need to make reservations ahead of time. Someone from one of the shuttle companies came up to us and asked if we needed a ride! It was only $12/person I think. Just let them know (most if not all will be wearing Hawaiian floral shirts) where you’re staying! I imagine most will take you to any Waikiki hotel or resort.
  2. Seattle, there’s the visitor center, the USS Missouri, and plenty of things to do. The Arizona is closed, but there’s a boat tour that goes by to get closer photos. We were there for hours and still didn’t get to do everything!
  3. We were on POA and docked at Nawiliwili. The Kauai Marriott Resort and beach is a short walk (10 mins max). There are shops nearby as well.
  4. Even though you need to board prior to 2 hours before ship leaves port, you may want to take that time to explore the ship! We got to port at around noon to board. It was easier that way instead of worrying about our luggage (and we explored Honolulu the day before).
