I actually got on chat with Virgin earlier (they were busy so created a case for me) and within an hour I got an email that the DBE was added. Good deal-now the cruise just has to sail 😏 -
I ageee with you that it’s highly unlikely that they’ll extend the voyage at no additional cost when they could do a short revenue sailing to Portsmouth (or perhaps a media cruise). .

Could get off in Lisbon I bet. I have another cruise for May 5th out of Rotterdam and have to meet up with my hubby there😀.

Any more indications that BL Caribbean sailings will be taken over by another ship (Valiant?) and BL will debut in Europe? That's my worry.....a lot of disruptions with that route. Far more than just the TA.

Yes, according to their marketing person in the article in travel weekly. Let’s just hope we get a definitive answer on the BL TA - one way or another.

Me too! Since the first appearance on the Amsterdam ship calendar until May 8, plenty of time to get from Lisbon to Portsmouth for the first short cruise.

Totally agree - and so much cooler too! Easy to get there from the MW (lots of points flights) and easy access to the rest of W. Europe.

Seems likely since BL is on OFFICIAL port schedule for Zeebrugge for 5/7 amd Amsterdam for 5/8. Fingers crossed TA goes as planned first!

I did PIF for that reason but didn't get 10% off (paid via website) - is this something that VV will retroactively apply if I contact them?

Same here and with many other people too! There are port stops on the official calendars for Amsterdam and Zeebriugge in may 2024 which lends credence to theory that BL will do Northern European itineraries but still no idea if our ta will happen as scheduled or even later. We booked a may cruise but TAs are priced too high now.

Always use Google Flights. You can set an email alert when prices change - on a specific flight or date - for any route. Even if you’ve already booked, price drops often result on money or credit back from the airline.
