These constant "500 error" messages are very frustrating. Probably time to give up on CC and just use more stable sites

Regent will feed you throughout your cruise, with no reservations required for breakfast or lunch. Also no reservations required for dinner in Compass Rose or Sette Mari. Guests may pre-book on-line one dinner reservation in each Speciality restaurant prior to sailing, then subsequent reservations may be made on board, space dependent. On Splendor there are 3 Speciality restaurants requiring reservation.

No, if you make your own flight arrangements then the only transfer included will be from the Regent pre-cruise hotel to the ship on the morning of embarkation.

Regent- Stranded! Last minute change 🙀

Why do you need to know ? It won’t change the outcome ………… and probably won’t change the views of those with conspiracy theories about the reason for the port change. -
Regent- Stranded! Last minute change 🙀
flossie009 replied to 1teach53's topic in Regent Seven Seas Cruises
Two weeks before the cruise (not “last minute”) Regent has emailed all guests informing them of the port change and has offered transport between the two ports to those requiring it. Not sure why anyone thinks that Regent should do any more; and certainly no reason for them to communicate directly with anyone other than those booked on the affected cruises. A sadly pessimistic view. Hopefully the OP and others will report back on their experience next month. I hope everyone has trouble-free travels and a great cruise. -
Regent- Stranded! Last minute change 🙀
flossie009 replied to 1teach53's topic in Regent Seven Seas Cruises
If Regent have your correct contact details, why should you ? No one has been “stranded” on the cruise in question. What more do you need to know from Regent regarding your specific travel arrangements ? -
Regent- Stranded! Last minute change 🙀
flossie009 replied to 1teach53's topic in Regent Seven Seas Cruises
I am sure the issues caused by the change in port were very annoying and frustrating for those adversely affected; not sure how many guests suffered significant problems as a result of the change ? Yes, Regent should have thought through the possible guest scenarios before sending out the initial email; but at least they have resolved the issues within 2 working days of being made aware ……… and still 2 weeks before the cruise. -

....... and then present an invoice to RSSC for your expenses that result from the change of embarkation port and their failure to fulfil the terms of the contract (post #8 above) -
How warm will it be on a Spring TA crossing?
flossie009 replied to cruisevirgin24's topic in Regent Seven Seas Cruises
On a TA Rio to Lisbon you should have a better chance of good weather for much of the route compared to a TA from New York or Miami. As we found some years ago the middle of the South Atlantic can be very pleasant: -
Booking cruise shortly after returning home...
flossie009 replied to Lady of Leisure's topic in Regent Seven Seas Cruises
Although an FCC/RRC can be useful, I believe it has some drawbacks compared to making an immediate booking on board: 1. You are not locking in todays prices 2. The money spent on the certificate is not earning interest 3. It is unlikely that you would have charge-back rights with your credit card for the value of the certificate; and there might be issues with a travel insurance cancellation claim for a deposit where a certificate had been used. We found it interesting to see that the company that issues the "Return with Regent Credit" is Goodwill Credit Ltd, rather than Regent or NCLH. A Google search for Goodwill Credit Ltd comes up with a Hong Kong based moneylender - https://goodwillcredit-hk.com/ -

I believe it is per certificate not per person. Each certificate covers one cruise booking. (£800GBP for us based in the UK) -

Although the credit does not expire, you only receive the on-board booking benefits if the credit is used within the first twelve months after purchase. -

Did more staff arrive on board since your embarkation ? 🤔 Glad service has improved and that you are enjoying your cruise 😎 -
Booking cruise shortly after returning home...
flossie009 replied to Lady of Leisure's topic in Regent Seven Seas Cruises
If you book on board (or within the 30 days prior) the booking can be transferred to your TA so that you will benefit from the on-board booking benefits plus the discount offered by your TA. So you end up with the TA best price less the on-board booking discount ............. plus the other on-board booking benefits (lower deposit, ship board credit, price guarantee & ability to move the cruise without penalty) -
Booking cruise shortly after returning home...
flossie009 replied to Lady of Leisure's topic in Regent Seven Seas Cruises
Full "Book on Board" benefits, including reduced deposit, are only available from 30 days prior to a cruise .............. unless you have purchased a "Return with Regent Credit" (Future Cruise Certificate) You might receive a "Welcome Home" discount after the cruise, but not sure if that applies to all cruises. Best that you or your TA telephone the Regent Southampton office to check. -
Congratulations 💰 🙂 On our cruise, Voyager was delayed sailing on the last night with a "technical issue". This meant that the shops never opened and any other purchases that final evening would have been subject to Spanish tax ☹️

For us, it is important to give prompt feedback to the management on board the ship. They can then pass on the positive feedback to crew members, including nominations for employee of the month and future promotion; and also directly address any shortcomings noted.

There are plenty of free-form boxes within the survey where all this information can be typed in easily.

We had no issues filling out the survey on our iPads from the comfort of our suite (Voyager) As we disembarked Voyager this morning, the CD read out the names of the two lucky winners. Still not sure how they would utilise the non-refundable credit if the prize is not awarded until overnight prior to disembarkation; unless used to defray an outstanding balance. Moot point anyway as we did not win ☹️

On Mariner you will simply have champagne & caviar available with breakfast every Sunday in La Veranda or Compass Rose. -
Concerned over Bad Reviews re Voyager
flossie009 replied to scottie99's topic in Regent Seven Seas Cruises
I am sure you will have a fabulous time on Voyager. IMO the layout of the public areas on Mariner is better than Voyager, but at least both have the Horizon Lounge. -
Just doing the end of cruise survey on Voyager. A few minor changes from the previous version experienced: 1. The survey can be accessed via QR code (in Passages and also on cards displayed at Reception) 2. Some of the questions have been tidied up to make more sense. 3. Still no question about the quality of Wi-Fi/internet 🤨 4. Plenty of free-form boxes to allow for more detailed comments 5. Incentive offered. All surveys submitted to be entered in a draw to win one of two $100 SBC(non refundable). Not sure how anyone spends the prize if draw takes place at end of cruise 🙄 Survey still has to be submitted before disembarkation.
