  1. I know this is an old thread, but I didn't want to make a new one.

     

    Anyway, has anyone successfully added prepaid gift cards (like prepaid visa; not carnival gift cards) at the kiosk. Or even in person with guest services? I have three cards I got as rebates and I'd love to be able to use them for my S&S.

  2. Yes; you CAN get iMessages on the social plan. Keep in mind that it won't work if you're logged into chat. They used to say that iMessage was not included on the social plan, though I found I could always use it. But I want to say that they actually advertised iMessage ability on the social plan during our March Magic cruise.


  3. Yeah I called customer service and they won’t cancel one item. Seems they bundled them even though it was not a bundle deal. This was the excursion code John heald had posted on his page and there was no requirement to purchase multiples. However, I purchased 3 and they made it a bundle and now won’t let me cancel just one. They also “bundled” individual spa purchase too, which makes no sense. How is one item a bundle.

  4. It was not a bundle. It was 3 purchased on the same order but not a bundle. This was during the John Heald 10% sale. But multiple excursions were not a condition of the discount. The only option is to cancel the whole order. There isn’t options to cancel one item.

     

    Likewise a funshop order has 2 items (pack of water and social WiFi plan) I can only cancel the whole order not just an item. So it’s the same sitch.

  5. Yes; we had this cabin on our last magic cruise. We often found beer bottles, cigarette butts, and empty cocktail glasses with pineapple and umbrellas on our balcony. We never had privacy or cover when it rained. I will not book one of those again. We’re sailing the magic again in March and I’m on the 8th deck instead. I purchased the couples spa pass to go along with it so I’ll still have all the orivileges.

     

    I also did not like the 12th deck location and how we had to get there. It’s in a separate little wing. We’d have to go all the way forward, go in the special hall and then walk back. This one just wasn’t for us.

  6. For fun and for tips and hacks.

     

    Post ONE item you’re bringing on your cruise (that many may not have thought of) and explain how it’s a cruise hack (if not obvious).

     

    Here’s mine:

     

    An alarm clock. I have a cheap digital battery operated clock that lights up when you tap it. It helps to see in the cabin in the dark and it’s nice to know what time it is.

  7. We booked an excursion in Cozumel through Carnival. We had decided to do something. Else on our own. I went to cancel, but there were 3 excursions booked together, and I’d have to cancel the whole order. There’s no option for canceling just one item. Can I cancel once on board and have the balance back on my sail and sign?
