  1. Have to say we’ve never experienced that, thank goodness!
  2. Just seen in the topic Cost of Speciality Restaurants that mercruiser reported that the cost of speciality restaurants on Quest currently is $49, with the cost for a 3 tour package being @$120. Others reported that the cost had not changed on Journey earlier this year. I won’t change the spreadsheet just yet, but will certainly check this out on Pursuit next month.,
  3. Thanks for your post - a reminder to me to have a check through it. I’ve amended it in a few places, including the entry about reciprocal benefits, so that it shows that you retain benefits accumulated before Azamara left RCCL so long as you had sailed with Azamara before then. The price for the speciality restaurants in the spreadsheet of $35 was accurate in October/November.
  4. Absolutely. We mentioned how good our room steward was in the mid-Cruise feedback and he was delighted and told us so.
  5. Glad to hear it’s all sorted - enjoy your cruise!
  6. Java spot has just posted in the ‘Current list of Wines On Board’ that they were charged $15 corkage fee for wine. I’ve amended the Tips spreadsheet accordingly https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15Deg-GaeZYLml8NN3PVwoh_jUkQ8QmYUe1wxnVAlODE/edit
  7. Ours is finding it easy to work with Azamara now.
  8. Got ours via our TA for our 20 February cruise on Pursuit
  9. Maybe better to book directly then, unless you got a much better deal from your TA.
  10. No, so far as I am aware you are charged the full cost.
  11. Was it because it didn’t cover port fees, so 5% of the price without the port fees
  12. Also you can get pastries etc and a hot drink at Mosaic coffee bar on Deck 5, if you just want a quick breakfast after the gym.
  13. I’ve been known to go up to Deck 9 in my robe to get a cup of tea very early in the morning (before 6am)
  14. Here’s the programme from a sea day last year.
  15. It was a beautiful but chilly day on Wednesday when we went for our walk by the river Humber.
  16. Oh dear! I assume you went back to them - be interested to hear the final outcome.
  17. The 10 years issue is a bit of an issue as the yellow fever vaccination is now considered to be for life, but S. Africa doesn’t seem to have caught up with that. As we’re doing it the other way round we’ll be going from one yellow fever area (The Gambia) to another (Senegal), so if we want to go ashore in Senegal we need a yellow fever vaccination.
  18. You can see a selection of cabins, but not all. You have to go through a mock booking. If you sign into your account, then all you have to add is the second passengers name. Once you get to the cabin section, click on the paper and pencil icon against cabins and it shows a selection of cabins. You can choose list view or de k view too.
  19. Good idea to post this on the roll call too.
  20. You can upgrade from premium to ultimate, you just pay the difference between them.
  21. It’s exactly the same as many flights. If I book a non flexible flight today for 6 months time I have to pay in full. If in 5 months the price goes down (probably because there are plenty of seats available) I can’t then get a price reduction - it’s called market pricing.
