  1. My opinion is no. I think when we did concierge, all we got extra was small snacks before dinner. After that it was veranda or aqua if reasonable.
  2. I had the same problem. Had to get the invoice from my TA which said it was All Included. Now, I booked an aqua class in January and the reservation on the celebrity site says veranda. When I click on manage, it says aqua class. Go figure.
  3. After having lost my partner in February, I am traveling solo for the first time. With ships not sailing at capacity, I am wondering why HAL still charges double the rate for a single. We had five stars, and I find it hard to swallow paying the fare which HAL just doubles. Celebrity is enticing single travelers with many cruises at just the rate for one person. I recently sailed Seabourn which charges 1.5 to 1.6 for singles. I will be sailing on Celebrity on 9/10/22. Any other lines that are making it more advantageous for single travelers?
  4. This was from the Odyssey in June in Alaska.
  5. To have the private dining room BLU. I just noticed its by the MDR in a sectioned off area.
  6. TA sent me the celebrity invoice where at the bottom the promos are listed. AI is there.
  7. Just booked and aqua class on the Infinity. The TA did aqua class and stated it was all included. The base always included. Where on the Celebrity site booking does it say this, or are all aqua class always included. Has been a while since I have been on celebrity.
  8. It’s amazing how many people don’t know about this. Really is a no brained now.
  9. If you book on line, when you go to pay a deposit or pay in full, the website gives you neither the club discount or the early pay discount. Do you normally have to contact an agent to get these discounts?
  10. Most evenings are elegant casual. Men: Slacks with a collared dress shirt and slacks. I am on the odyssey now, and have worn a nice polo and khakis with no problem. Formal night only saw one tuxedo. You do have to have a sport coat to eat at the restaurant on formal night. They will turn you away without a sport coat. More casual venue is earth and ocean and the colonnade.
  11. No email, but their website says temporarily closed. Wow, that’s a problem.
  12. I called arrivecan, and they said put the address of the first port of call in Canada. That worked. We sail from juneau to vancouver.
  13. I have had my boarding changed several times for departure out of Juneau at 9pm. First was 2:20. Then changed to 4pm. Seems late, but it says not to arrive before your time. Checkout is at noon, so he comes 4 hours wandering Juneau , Alaska!
  14. I am arriving in prince rupert then going to airport in Vancouver. On seabourn odyssey
  15. I am getting off the ship in vancouver, testing, and heading to the airport. On the last page of the app, it doesn’t give me the option to put my US address in only Canada. I am only gettting off the ship and heading to the airport. Am i doing something wrong. I used the option heading home.
  16. I am getting off in vancouver on Seabourn. I have a proctored test for the day before, and a test scheduled at the cruise terminal for 10:30am. Just in case.flight not till 5:30pm. If I get the proctor test done the day before, I brought three for just me just in case, I will take the excursion that tours vancouver. Hope this is the case.
  17. If I get off the ship in Vancouver and go to the airport, do I have to fill out the arrivecan app just to go to the airport to fly to Seattle?
  18. Wondering if my T-Mobile signal will be sufficient when we dock in Vancouver. Will bring several proctor tests. If you get disconnected, do you waste the test?
  19. When I use the Seabourn app on my iPhone all I get is a blank white screen when I launch the app. iPad is fine, but I like to use the phone. Any ideas. I turned it off and then turned it back on. Also re downloaded the app any ideas.
  20. So I have cancelled my Seabourn excursion of Vancouver and scheduled a test at the convention center. My flight to SEA is at 5:30pm, so will have enough time. If I am able to do the proctor test the day before, I will , but if it does not work over the ship internet, I have a backup plan. I guess I will not do a Seabourn excursion on the day before, so Seabourn is losing out on my spending close to $300 on excursions.
  21. I will try to do the proctored test when we get into port in Vancouver, and also schedule a test at the cruise port before I go to the airport just in case the internet is unreliable.
  22. Just got a notice that Seabourn is no longer providing antigen tests for people getting off in Vancouver for their return flight home. Why not provide the test and charge us for the test as a source of revenue. I have a flight at 5:30 pm to Seattle, so I have time, but have to now research and schedule the test. Will have to cancel my Seabourn excursion of Vancouver so I have time to do all this. Added stress not needed, but they say it is circumstances beyond their control HAL has also made the same decision.
