The cruise was just released last week. I booked within 20 minutes of seeing it. By the next day, the category I chose was already sold out.
We book right away and told our friends and they are booked also. Could not believe it when I saw 14 nights not to many 14 nights leaving from NJ

Do you have a certain amount of time there? When I look I see time slots so didn't know if you were allotted a certain amount and then have to leave.
You just have to pick a time your going to check in and then you can stay there until they close or until you leave to go back to the ship. I left to go shopping downtown although my hubby stayed behind to stay with our stuff.

Thank you. Can you pay for the water taxi with US dollars or credit card?

How do you book the water taxi?
You don't. There is a booth in the port 7.00 per person round trip. You can come and go as often as you want for 7.00 We had no issues just paid then walked down to where we picked it up. You can also pay at the water taxi itself if you miss the booth didn't realize that till we got to the water taxi.

We just got back and went to Big Bastards can't recommended them enough. So easy take water taxi turn right as soon as you get off walk a minute if that. Very helpful and friendly. They were so helpful with my husbands mobility issues. We took my granddaughter and her boyfriend they said it was one of the highlights of the cruise. We will go back next time we are there.

Can you book day of or do you need to book ahead of time? Also I’ve seen people say take a water taxi and others say take a cab? Which is best? Ty
We just got back and took the water taxi so easy as soon as you get off the water taxi turn right walk maybe a minute and it's right there. Water taxi only 7.00 a person round trip. Would recommend this place highly ver friendly and very help. We booked in advance. It was busy many cruisers were there.

We just booked this for our January cruise for our grand daughter would like to book it for ourselves as well although hubby has mobility issues with walking. How far to pick up a taxi and then walk to this place. I thought about taking the water taxi if that is better.

It is on Great Bay, a 5 minute $6.00 taxi ride from the ship. For $30.00 we got two comfortable lounge chairs ocean front, umbrella and 5 beers included. Value was excellent and the facilities well appointed. The beach is beautiful and we were attended to by owner Steve who couldn’t do enough. I highly recommend the experience. We booked online in advance and was set up on the beach minutes after arrival. Blazing fast WiFi included on the beach was a bonus. We will repeat on our next cruise.

Just note that depending on the day of the week, time of day and time of year, the drive can be 35-60 minutes, even longer if there is an accident on the 405 Freeway.
Thanks for the heads up. Our ship sails on a Thursday next Sept and as much as I would like to stay at that hotel I'm thinking near the port might be a better choice

Both Doubletree San Pedro and Crowne Plaza are nearest and convenient (I’d lean towards the Doubletree) but there’s not much going on nearby to enjoy your pre-cruise stay.
For our last cruise from Los Angeles, we opted to stay in Redondo Beach a few miles north along the coast, at the Portofino Hotel and Marina. We loved the hotel, and tremendously enjoyed the area. The hotel provides free bike rentals and we went for a very nice ride along the beach, the boardwalk, and throughout the town before heading to the port.
Although waking up closer to the port on on embarkation day would’ve been more ideal, our stay at the Portofino made our trip much more special.
This looks like a nice hotel planning early not cruising until next year at this time. How did you get from the hotel to the port?

For those who might have the same issue as I did. I was able to just upgrade myself to the premium package as hubby doesn't drink. A celebrity resolution people had to get involved although it was done. We are on a Sept 2024 cruise.

Can someone tell me where the port for Oasis of the Seas is located and where their parking garage is and cost. My daughter and grandson are on the 8/4 cruise and I’m trying to help them plan. Many thanks in advance.
Bayonne NJ go the east coast boards lots of into there and the garage is right by the port

We had this issue back in October along with several others when we placed Future Bookings on the Summit. It was only when one of our travel mates TA told her she had to book in 90 days when we all were told 1 year and had paperwork saying the same. Celebrity had to honor it and said the ship had the wrong paperwork. It took many phone calls and reaching up the chain to get that to happen.
I would think by now they would have the right paperwork.

Celebrity suites on the Apex 13 night Spring 2024 TA is going for almost $4000($11945pp) more per person total than the Apex 14 night Spring 2023 TA. $11K plus per person is insane.
The Beyond going to Rome even more.
Looking elsewhere.....
I know even the Connie TA is like that

mahdnc No, I just looked for a new TA for the next cruise. But, how I miss Lori and Non. They were so great and so proactive. I met Lori a couple of times, the last on a group cruise on Harmony just a couple of months before she died. And I also noticed the name had been sold and is now in a northern state.
I found Non she is still working as a TA
