Agree with Zitsky...convenience. And agree with others....the math such that I can follow it, worked for us! The Silho cruise we booked is an extra pre holiday short cruise. It has LCG (with the Cookie!) , Porch..Seafood Tower, Murano( a bit too long a meal) Tuscan, etc..More than we will need.. nice bars and lounges two ports KW (great wifi) and Nassau ( Atlantis) , one sea day..for the Spa.. so perfect! Next we will look for Bermuda on Eclipse..keeping life simple!

And beautiful music to go along with it all!

We have APEX booked for a longer itin in January 2025. Took rm 9237....same as your sons. Got the Cap Club Discount, current sale terms for 2nd passenger with all in and $200 OBC. We will book Specialty Dining most nights and get the great Cookie at Lawn Club Grill! Keep having fun!

We did follow advice on this thread. We booked a short "fill in" cruise on Silhouette for Dec 2024. to Carib/ Bahamas. We took the "all in".came out cheaper than " al la carte". Includes grats, Classic alc and the not needed internet mins. Got 75% off 2nd guest( I think) plus $200 OBC.. not bad for a short cruise. We will do spec dining ! And will get my cookie at Lawn Club! Thanks for guidance.

We went through this when they first eliminated the footstools and then when they took away nicer balc tables where one could eat a meal . Sounds like this a ban on SV loungers could be the next "Cookiegate". Why have all that space for just a tiny table and 2 chairs,?

we do most of check in online from home computer...choose to wait on the photo..and have survived without an app. It really does not slow down check in at all!

sorry.. can't recall.. Does this "un-bundle" apply to other cabins like Concierge Class? We just need a cabin and Classic Alc package. Will that be doable ir shpukd we just book before 10/4 ! and take what us offered...

We also worked well with it..It added space to the long narrow cabin, esp with the low to ground most uncomfy couch which we used to stack other items A balc not that important and we only opened the window to take a few pics..or while sailing into ports.. we had no issues with A/C..we kept bi folds open and windiw closed most of the time

that was very helpful..just a nice port day close to the ship..lunch shop swim and sun!

my post was lost during maint ?? doubt they will turn it down..directives come from mgmnt key is to enjoy tranquility early..hopefully before it is turned on. For the Solarium best to go early before the crowds arrive.. Supposed to have spa music there ???

a sun lounger was an easy fit on our EDGE SV balc. We only asked for one and there wss no issue about getting it .I think we had a chair and small table as well. If staff takes them away, some cruisers may resort to self help in the wee hrs???
