great pics of Turkey.. we really had a great tour there & enjoyed the bazaar, and lunch in an old inn..(that was for people & their animals) our tour did have the carpet sales stop but we managed to escape quietly. Very aggressive salesman, and we did not feel obliged! loved your Athens pics too but when we went is was very crowded.. very commetcialized thanks again for a great review!

Unacceptable in all respects.. X should do much much better! We had 2 great cruises on EDGE when she first came on line. Obviously has gone way downhill since then!

No, too small.. We have a Kia. Sorrento, (3 seat rows) in Fl , a Tucson and a new Super Sonata (fully loaded)... Used to drived VOLVO , then MAZDA, but don't need upscale anymore..And we really don't go very far..other than west to east coast Fl for cruises! Still will not cruise on Inf and hope Eclipse & Summit are as good as Silhouette! Hope ship gets back okay & continues on in good repair. cruise line would not risk safety of pax

Maybe those without a package.?? .We have Classic Bev & can request water/ soda on our package one or two at a time. But the soda and water in our room are an extra charge plus grat. They have turned us into water/ soda foragers to get items for our rm. . We used to get 1 btl water each in AQ Class..Now just 1 each at the start..

We use the X website to browse( bad enough). .. but book by calling in.. We find that reps often have more info, other offers and more available rms.

Many agree, which is why BLU can get a bit crowded some nights. BLU was a suite option ( subject to availability) before Luminae came on the scene but they never took the BLU option away. if they improved the Luminae menu, service and ambiance, maybe more suite folks would stay in Luminae. .We disliked the Luminae menu; and find it overall to be dark and noisy, crowded at certain times. There were no bread trays on the tables & bread was doled out by the disappearing bread lady. The amuse bouche course was often odd and a time filler!

We would enjoy more Bob Marley, Island style, steel drum music, and Jimmy Buffet..on our Carib cruises. Mexican sounds for South of the Board, and Iz for Hawaii..Over the Rainbow used to be X theme song!

We are low mileage drivers and keep cars 10 to 15 yrs..but we also know when the time has come to move on.. We try to use a 20/20 plan.. slightly used, under 20,000 miles, and under $20,000.. I don't know when a ship is ready to be retired but Infinity has had some rough times! Seems Summit and Connie are still okay???? MERCURY is our all time fav and we heard she is still at sea,?

Still enjoying your review with photos and helpful tips.. We also prefer Mykonos to Santorini but have a bucket list desire to visit the akotiri (sp?) excavation. We believe many other secrets of Santorini are underwater.. Glad you are enjoying your cruise and all the ship offers!
