Just matched Royal Caribbean Platinum to MSC Silver and my husband's Marriott Titanium Elite to MSC Silver as well (a bit surprised he didn't match higher as Titanium Elite is second highest). Unable to match 11 year old's RC Platinum status due to age (I've seen that people have matched minors before but I guess things changed 🤷🏼‍♀️). Went very smoothly, submitted match and had answer in a few hours. Also appearing in my reservation in the app 🙂

My daughter is pretty darn thrilled to hear the Messi announcement! This is arrival in Port Canaveral the other day on Anthem. She insisted on wearing her Messi jersey as this was the closest we were going to be to Miami on this cruise 😅

I'm usually able to book MTD when I book the cruise. My furthest out cruise is currently Odyssey for Dec '24 and I made MTD reservations when I booked that cruise back last May.

Just looked at our itinerary for next May....we are due to visit Ocean Cay on May 23d. Yikes. Wondering if we should push trip back? First time on MSC...don't want to miss island.

Exactly! I just can't stomach those prices. I feel lucky we did book our 3 upcoming RC cruises a while back. We got Liberty next August (5 day in OV balcony) for a smidge over $3k (not KSF as high season) and both of our upcoming December 7 day cruises (OV balconies; Anthem this year and Odyssey next year) for $2.5K (KSF for both). I'm hoping Royal hits the ceiling with prices and starts to normalize to pre-Covid prices at some point but there are lots of people willing to shell out $$$$ so there isn't much incentive for RC to do so now. Hoping MSC provides a good alternative; we also really don't want to fly.

Following this! We (my husband, myself and 11 year old daughter) too are finding the pricing on Royal to be depressing and prohibitive. We just came off Liberty last week and had hoped to book a May cruise for 2024 on Symphony thru NextCruise. Holy freaking cow.....the prices! We even looked at ocean view window and inward-facing balconies (we usually go with ocean view balcony) and the prices were double and triple what we paid for Oasis for last May (and that's without drink packages or wifi). Ain't gonna happen. Took a look at Merviglia for May '24 and booked it. Half the price of an ocean view on Symphony and that is in an Aurea level premium balcony with 3 drink packages (2 Easy Plus and a minor package) and wifi! Really hoping we like it....I'd love to be Loyal to Royal but Royal doesn't want me to be unfortunately (we do have 3 upcoming Royal cruises booked between now and Dec '24...but these were booked prior to the prices shooting up). Fingers crossed!

I'm just going to sit back and see what happens at this point. My previously reported OBC disappeared... along with my OBC from my TA from booking (!). That at least was reinstated so I'm back to where I was a few weeks ago prior to booking anything. I'll take whatever at this point, not really caring unless they take away my pre-existing OBC again 😆

I have $200 credited to my account...we purchased 2 Premier Passes and 3 Atlantis tickets (all of which were canceled). Not sure how that breaks down unless it's $100/cabin/mistake?

I think this is the max they *should* do. Everyone makes mistakes; I don't think RC owes any of us anything other than the exact reinstatement of any packages at the price they were originally purchased at (Internet, The Key, etc) that people may have canceled thinking the Premier Pass would be better. Myself, I'm disappointed, sure....but I get it that mistakes happen and I don't expect anything. Fortunately I didn't cancel my Black Friday internet deal so I'm exactly where I was 2 days ago. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I'm on the same sailing (Oasis Oct 16th) and just checked....I can see my Set Sail passes on the app. Yesterday though the app was frozen up and I couldn't see anything.

We had the map/brochure delivered to our room the night before Coco Cay on Oasis 2 weeks ago. Was nice to look over before we got off. And to chime in...lots to enjoy without spending anything. We snorkeled, swam, hit the pool, toured via tram, enjoyed a great lunch, shopped (well, ok....we did spend a little there 😄), walked around, etc.

Ship - Oasis of the Seas Deck - 12 Stateroom # - 686 Stateroom Category – 3D Starboard or Port Side - Starboard Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Yes Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – Great mid-ship view, no obstructions. No noise. Starboard location gave interesting port view on embarkation. (Well, as good as a view of Bayonne can be....) Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - normal Was wind a problem? - no If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - n/a, this cabin is mid-ship. Any specific problems with this cabin? - Nothing big. Curtain a bit worn out but no biggie. Closet door sticks a bit...just push it. ! Any other comments? - Great cabin. Centrally located and close to stairs/elevators. Location on 12th deck meant easy access to pool deck via stairs yet one deck buffer so no pool deck noise. Sofa bed pulled out; even when made up for daughter (see pics) there was plenty of room to access balcony. We kept bed made up all week; never used it as sofa. We put little side table on balcony for more floor space. Liked that the bathroom light on dimly even when shut off; makes nighttime bathroom trips easier Hidden outlet under bed; perfect for phone or CPAP or whatever.
