  1. Oh wow, thank you for posting these pictures. I have been looking at potentially doing a Greek Isles cruise in the fall and I just found out today that the Spirit is a) refurbished and b) has new itineraries there that fit what we want to do. Looking into booking one soon, if I can convince my husband the flight won't be that bad. 😄
  2. DH and I both thought the coffee on the Eurodam last month was weak (Lido and MDR both). Maybe it varies by ship.
  3. I recall on our form there were four times they would call for Port Valet people to disembark (believe in 30 minute increments), the last one was at 9:30am and the one we chose since our flight was at 1:30pm. The service was great, we didn't have to do anything but find our airport shuttle and stand in the very long security line at the airport. :) The bag status was updated through our airline's app and made it to our destination. The baggage fees were added to our stateroom account, but I do recall (like mentioned above) that there was an area on the form if you were exempt from baggage fees.
  4. We stopped by the Arctic Bar before 11am - great place. The shops were open when we got off the ship around 7:30am I believe.
  5. Not sure about a cab but we did an Uber Pool from the airport to our hotel (Hampton Inn Downtown Seattle Center) for $35 on a Friday afternoon with very little traffic. Took less than 25 minutes. The hotel worked out nicely for us-grocery next door, within walking distance of several restaurants, near the Space Needle and a bus stop at the back of the hotel. We took an Uber to the port (less than $10, less than 10 minutes) and arrived at noon. It is a little walk though from the Uber drop off, as mentioned above, but they have a shuttle to the ship. The port was super busy, we stood in line for probably 45 mins to do security/check in. Everyone we encountered, from the Seattle porters to the HAL folks were super nice tho. When we disembarked, we had pre-booked a ride with Seattle Express for $18 to the airport and it worked out fine. However, the SeaTac security lines were really long. It took us well over an hour to get through.
  6. Thank you for this thread, seamist! I'll be on the Eurodam next month, albeit for a way shorter cruise. :) This has been interesting. Safe travels!
