  1. So sorry about your stylist! Horrendous injuries, I hope she has an uneventful recovery. SherrI🙂
  2. Thanks for the good thoughts, I think we are going to need them! I don’t understand why it is ok to open everything when our numbers are higher than they were when he closed things🤔. Just got back from what may be my last trip to Target and Total Wine for awhile. OOTD: lime green gap tshirt with khakis, flip flops and a coordinated mask. With eye makeup but best I could do with my hair was a ponytail. Sherri🙂
  3. You are right about temperature checks, they give a false sense of security. As do 5 day old lab results😂😂 Sherri🙂
  4. We had 7 cruises booked for 2020, completed 2 in Feb., 4 cancelled but we were able to move one of them to next year, and one booked in November. Pretty sure that one will be cancelled too. Typical number of cruises per year for us. But I think I am missing my grandkids and my son in Australia more than cruising😂 Sherri🙂
  5. A friend who lives in OC said he had been thinking that all they needed to make 2020 even better was an earthquake! Glad you are ok and breathing clean air😀 Sherri🙂
  6. That is the kind of logic my brother used, told Dad it would be a little vacation for him before going back to teaching. Even said he would stay a few days and they could play some golf together, Dad refused. Sherri🙂
  7. Everything you wrote about Ginsberg is spot on! It is a sad day for this country. Sherri😞
  8. They think he is ok as long as he is in familiar areas for short trips. I personally think they don’t want to do anything about his driving as they would need to be his chauffeur if he couldn’t drive.🙄 Sherri🙂
  9. I don’t think he would buy that, Keksie, as he knows one of us would be flying up from Florida to drive him down, so not doing us a favor. And he would not want to stop places, he wants to get to golfing as quick as possible. Sherri🙂
  10. That’s what we all think as far as driving to Florida but he will not listen to anyone. I don’t think he should be driving at all in Indiana but my siblings do not back me up on that. Sherri🙂
  11. Sharon, we flew on Southwest. The planes looked very clean and even smelled clean!😂 Sherri🙂
  12. My parents rented condos in the Panhandle area of a Florida for probably15 years so he could play golf at the Air Force base with a group of friends during the winter months. He told me they started with a group of 30 and now have 5 left, so he thinks he is going to drive himself down there after Christmas.😳. We have several family members , including my husband, who have said they will drive him down but he is resisting that. I have asked him many times to fly down for a long visit, even told him I would buy him the ticket but he keeps saying he can’t do that. He is just so stubborn! Lois, you are right, I have become his parent! The hamburgers look very good, as does the margarita😂 Sherri🙂
  13. Well, my theory is be safe and smart, wear masks, wash hands, etc. If we should develop symptoms in a week or so, I may rethink the smart part.😂 So sorry about your dad. Sherri🙂
  14. Yes, I have 2 siblings in the same town and one just a few hours away in southern Indiana. But I am the oldest and the “responsible” one who my parentsalways called if they needed something. They can handle things now. I don’t think he had any form of dementia, just forgetfulness and a little confusion at times. And he is just so darn stubborn, my sister has asked him to move in with her and he refuses. She wanted me to talk him into it but he won’t even discuss it.🙄 Sherri🙂
