I haven't cruised Norwegian in years so haven't experienced specialty dining of which I have two on our upcoming cruise. When you have a reservation at a restaurant, how do they know my reservation is free? Also, a couple of restaurants only have tables for four available and it would be just the two of us. What would happen if you booked for four and only two showed up? TIA

Celebration headed back out. Might have been a crew member. Brought back to port in a emergency boat.

Celebration left Miami at 4 today and turned back due to a medical emergency. Almost back to port.

I'm Platinum on Carnival and on our next cruise we are waitlisted for early dining, which we prefer. So does priority reservations mean anything if I want to change the time? How does that work? Thanks.

Is it worth it to stay up until midnight to check in 16 days before sailing or would I still get a decent check in time if I waited until morning - 6-7:00? Thanks.

I was checking prices for our cruise on 1-27-24 on the Mardi Gras and it's not showing up. Does that mean it's sold out? Thanks.

Still couldn't access my booking this morning so I called support. She could see my booking but after a few minutes she came back on and said she couldn't fix the problem. Said to call back tomorrow. Makes me wonder how really messed up IT is if support can't do anything.

Pretty frustrating but hopefully they will get it straighten out sometime. Think I'll give them a call just to doublecheck.

Yep, did that and still comes up "This booking number and last name combination can not be found". Funny that the banner says 131 days to cruising.

I just signed in and the banner shows I cruise in 131 days. When I click it on, it prompts me for a booking number and last name. When I fill that in, it says it can't be found. Is this the glitch or should I be calling? I do have my confirmation number.

Beats me, he said something about point of access and fiddled with my I-pad. Restarted it and it worked. Prior to that, it worked everywhere else, just not in the room or balcony.

Just to add a few things about this cruise. I only booked it for a nice get away, we could drive to the port. The ports we really didn't care about. Like it was said before, PC is very limited time wise if you wanted to do anything. Miami was a disaster for many people. Won't get into detail but there is a thread on this. Got a $125 OBC due to delays. Only got off at Nassau to check the new construction. Port area was swamped with people. Still love Coco Cay. Had a great room attendant - Shurma - who remember us from 4 years ago. WJ had three omelet stations. Don't understand why they charge for North Star on sea days. Voom was hit and miss, couldn't get it in the room. Had to have internet guy come to the room to straighten it out. Wait service was great in the WJ. We had great weather and loved the ship. Did self assist and was off the ship and on the road by 7:30.

Food and service in main dining room was the worst in my 15 cruises with RCI. After three nights we went to the buffet which was surprisingly pretty good. We stayed on the ship at PC, time frame doesn't give you much time to do anything.

They had a fill a bag for a flat rate - $15.99 I think.

They weren't checking at Cape Liberty last week, just walked right in. But there wasn't any lines at 10-10:30.

Not true. We had 12:30 check in last week at Cape Liberty and were on the ship at 10:30.

In our letter we got telling us about the OBC, it said it was refundable.

We were on this cruise and I agree with most everything you said. We got back from our excursion, which was also a disaster, at 1:30 also and I would guess there was 500 people in line, not several thousand. There was a few people complaining but it seemed quite orderly. We were back on board in 30-35 minutes. I agree everything else was a disaster, the $125 OBC helped a little.
