  1. “RUSTIC” is a very poor description for disgraceful and dirty. We also have been there previously and expected some storm damage, however, this was way beyond what anyone should expect at the least they could have picked up the trash lying around on the beach and tidy up an entry for appearance sake.   5. We actually contacted Celebrity to inquire about the state of the beach prior to booking and told it was back up and running prior to booking it in February for an April excursion. Obviously when we arrived they were only open for cruise excursions there were no resort guests. We also trusted the Celebrity brand. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

  7. We just returned from a Southern Caribbean cruise on Summit. The Sapphire Beach Celebrity Excursion was absolutely disgusting. There is no power so they are on generators. The damage from the storm is evident and should not be a Celebrity sponsored excursion. Someone from Celebrity should occasionally go on the sponsored excursions to see if they are acceptable the entry and bar area you can see by the photos are destroyed and non functional. They do offer cold drinks at the snorkeling booth however. The beach had a lot of coral so it was tough on the feet getting in and out of the water. There was also tons of seaweed which is not their fault it is due to the storm. The bus we had been assigned was very old and felt unsafe. We made the best of it, but if anyone has this excursion booked this is a heads up on what you will find. Please see pics Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  8. If you are sailing out of Pan American Pier Hyatt House or Hyatt Place are excellent choices. These are less than a mile to the pier. Sent from my iPad using Forums

  10. We are cruising with two of our daughters and their spouses in April on Summit. My husband and I are in a suite and our family is in Aqua Class. Since our dining room in Luminae and theirs is Blu I was wondering if there is an option to have them as our guests in Luminae and visa versa. If anyone has any advice I would appreciate it.   11. We were on Millennium once with Paula Deen and about 1000 fans., which we were not aware of. We were held up about 2 hours from boarding so Paula and her family could board first. There were multiple "private events" during the cruise that closed down large public areas. One evening the closed down the entire pool deck for a party. There were multiple times we would try to go somewhere on the ship and were redirected due to private events for her group. If we had known of this group we would have certainly chosen a different cruise. We made the best of the cruise and we certainly did have a good time, but running into these obstacles all week was annoying and made us feel like we didn't belong. Sent from my iPad using Forums
  12. Redeployed April 7th 2018 cruise on summit... Just notified.
  13. We are booked on Summit April 7, 2018. It's disappeared from their website, however our reservation still exists. We are thinking this must be a cruise that is being chartered as well. Of course they tell you "it's down for maintenance" and there's not a problem with the cruise. Well, it's been off of the website for over a month and still have not received any information from a Celebrity... It's amazing they have such a great product and have so many communication issues from the website to the Celebrity representatives....
  14. We booked a suite for a great price too... Hopefully we will be granted the same deal on another cruise if need be. Just wait and see is all we can do can't get any info from Celebrity on it.
  15. We too are planners and always have future cruises planned each year. I'm definitely not worried I can pick another cruise anytime. We will just wait and see what happens.
