We are visiting Skagway, and looking to do the White pass rail and a tour back to Skagway. Looking for advise on which is the better tour of these 2? Thanks
-
We are spending 2 nights at the above lodges in June, and wanting to know if you can book private day tours, or do you need to go through Princess?
-
We are doing a Princess Alaska cruise & land tour and have the option to do the above tour, but it is already showing sold out on our cruise personaliser.
Looking for feedback of this tour?

Does anyone have photos of suite B753 or B748, or D748 or D751 on the Sea, Sun or Dawn Princess? Thank you
-
The ship was built for HAL, it is like walking onto a HAL ship. It is similar to the Oosterdam, but has self service laundries.
-
I have just spent 3 lovely nights on the Arcadia, and really liked the ship, and was told that HAL had originally built the ship and sold it.
Does anyone know why HAL sold it?
I like the fact that the panoramic lifts went upto another bar, restaurant and another lounge area.

I am waiting for cabin allocation as well for Arcadia 19 Feb

Thete was no noise from the Windjammer. You were lucky to grab that cabin. You get a Jr. Suite size cabin for a D-1 price. They go quickly!

Yes I thought I was lucky, as the cruise is next March and we are looking for another cruise after our cruise on the Legend of the Seas has been cancelled.
-
I have just put a hold on a cruise on the Explorer of the Seas cabin 1388, and wanting to know if there is any noise from the windjammer, and also if you have any photos that you wouldn't mind sharing. Thank you.

Hi Grandma07012007 & resordanis,
I should be able to help both of you. For Fairstar cruises this site:
has a lot of data, plus all the itineries. If you can't get the data here, please give me more details of itineries and approximate dates and I can help out more. I have all the Fairstar brochures from the late 70's on.
Orsova will be a littleharder but not impossible, I have a lot of brochures for her but not a complete set. If you can let me know approximate date - let's say a year and some of the other ports and it should be possible to try to work it out. BTW I sailed on Orsova out of Southampton in April 1972, she was fresh back from Australia then.
Lets see what we can do, I love a challenge!
It would be easier to do this by email, however there are some people who frequent here that I would not trust with my email address, so I am sorry that a more personal approach is not possible, still should be able to sort it for you though.
Cheers,
Hi David, I hope you can help me, as the above website has gone. I am looking for itineraries for March and April 1983 & 1984, I hope you can help me?
Thanks
Leanne

I have seen a website a long time ago that had itineraries of the Fairstar, does anyone know where I can find this site?
-
Totally agree, they should have had cruise ships berthing there.

Have been looking at the dining options for the Ovation of the Seas. We like to dine in a restaurant for breakfast and to be able to order bacon & eggs, omelettes, etc.
Can anyone tell me which complimentary restaurant you can get these dishes?
-
Have just booked Superior Oceanview on Ovation of the Seas, cabin 9510, and are looking for photos of the cabin on the other Quantum class ships?
-
When the future cruise credit is applied the booking number will change to the number on the future cruise credit that you have purchased.
-
I am looking at doing a cruise on the Legend of the Seas and are wondering if anyone has images of the Panoramic Oceanview Staterooms, quad share.
Also does anyone know what the configuration is the for quad beds?
-
Does anyone have a photo of a premiun oceanview cabin on the Sea Princess, we are looking at cabin C634. I was wondering what the size of the window is?
-
I believe that it is over 300 klms one-way from San Francisco to Yosemite - I can't believe that it would be worth a day trip??
Barry
I do know people who have done it as a day trip during the summer months, but as somebody just said it would be snowed in, it would not be possible to do as a day trip.
Sorry I was only making a suggestion. Yosemite was one of my favourite places in America, and can't wait to return one day.
-
Yes you will:). I checked today with the pier co-ordinator from last Monday and she advised me that the guests were able to get the sons passport to the terminal in time for them all to sail, so in this instance, a good outcome........and a valuable lesson learned.
Thank you for the update. It would have been so stressful for the family.
I remember getting my DH to stop once on the way to the airport, to check that I had the documents in. Check and re-check, and re-check again.

Maybe also consider visiting Yosemite National Park, which I believe can be done as a day trip.
Also look at doing the Coastal 17* Mile Drive as a day trip. This is a very scenic drive and very comparable to the Great Ocean Road.
