  3. Thete was no noise from the Windjammer. You were lucky to grab that cabin. You get a Jr. Suite size cabin for a D-1 price. They go quickly!

Yes I thought I was lucky, as the cruise is next March and we are looking for another cruise after our cruise on the Legend of the Seas has been cancelled.

  4. Hi Grandma07012007 & resordanis,

I should be able to help both of you. For Fairstar cruises this site:

    http://www.tssfairstar.com/

has a lot of data, plus all the itineries. If you can't get the data here, please give me more details of itineries and approximate dates and I can help out more. I have all the Fairstar brochures from the late 70's on.

Orsova will be a littleharder but not impossible, I have a lot of brochures for her but not a complete set. If you can let me know approximate date - let's say a year and some of the other ports and it should be possible to try to work it out. BTW I sailed on Orsova out of Southampton in April 1972, she was fresh back from Australia then.

Lets see what we can do, I love a challenge!

It would be easier to do this by email, however there are some people who frequent here that I would not trust with my email address, so I am sorry that a more personal approach is not possible, still should be able to sort it for you though.

    Cheers,

Hi David, I hope you can help me, as the above website has gone. I am looking for itineraries for March and April 1983 & 1984, I hope you can help me?

    Thanks

    Leanne

  5. I believe that it is over 300 klms one-way from San Francisco to Yosemite - I can't believe that it would be worth a day trip??

    Barry

I do know people who have done it as a day trip during the summer months, but as somebody just said it would be snowed in, it would not be possible to do as a day trip.

Sorry I was only making a suggestion. Yosemite was one of my favourite places in America, and can't wait to return one day.

  6. Yes you will:). I checked today with the pier co-ordinator from last Monday and she advised me that the guests were able to get the sons passport to the terminal in time for them all to sail, so in this instance, a good outcome........and a valuable lesson learned.

Thank you for the update. It would have been so stressful for the family.

I remember getting my DH to stop once on the way to the airport, to check that I had the documents in. Check and re-check, and re-check again.
