As I travel solo, I have never experienced the problem of having someone interfering with my morning, before and after dinner preparations 😜

I have to say, I LOVE traveling alone. No one to be a downer and ruin my fun or feeling responsible to make sure someone else is having fun.  Been there done that and going solo is relaxing. I love going on organized tours too, alone  🙂

Maybe not the deck plans, but I just started a booking on Encore, selected a regular balcony and the floor plan link shows a room with the recess for the bed.  Same process for Prima shows a room with a straight wall.

Not sure about Prima yet, but on other ships, when you select a cabin, the details tell if the bed is near the entrance or balcony. Very helpful.

well perhaps they want to be near kids or hear the music or just the thrill of it.  For some it is about the chasing of the GOOD spot by the pool.   For me I move every 1/2 hr or so as I get bored.  Would never plant myself anywhere for the whole day

I agree. Unless I'm in the shade, I'm not a fan of laying by the pool, I just like to people watch.

My 2 pennies worth on this:  As it is the first ship of a new class, I believe they will come out with a several new shows. May be, down the road, they will alternate ships with some existing shows but for the inaugural season, I would be very surprised if they put an existing show

As a new class, Epic started with Blue Man Group, Legends in Concert, Cirque Dinner as well as several others.

I was just watching the video of the press panel in Seattle yesterday and Harry Sommer said that the next big Prima announcement would be in a couple of weeks when they talk about activities.

I would love to see a Piano bar that starts around 6 pm like on the Spirit.  String trio or something would be nice too, saw that on hal but the early piano bar would be great.

Not sure if anyone noticed that for the Haven Private elevators, on the NCL deck plan, although there is also a Haven sundeck is on deck 17, the elevators stop at deck 16.  And there is a stairs from the Haven lounge going up to deck 17.  So anyone that may have some mobility impairements won't be able to go to that deck.

I am also wondering why that sun deck is restricted to Haven.  The sundeck with the pool on deck 16 is huge and given the number of suites in the Haven (around a hundred if I remember well), not sure there is a need for that additional sundeck.

I have seen something similar on the Getaway with a Haven sundeck located on the deck above the courtyard.  During a 2 week cruise, I have seen no more than 10 people on that sundeck.  There was not even bar service there. Agreed that some people are looking for quiet spots. But giving the entire aft of the ship as a secondary sundeck is way too much.  For a quiet area, 1/3 of that space would have been enough. It looks like they are repeating the same mistake.  I understand that they want to give Haven guests lots of space but too much is no better than not enough.

I've been under the impression the Haven pool had many kids and there are many sun bathers.

It is not "in-room".  It is on the balcony. And, for what we know now, only some Haven suites located at the back of the ship have that on the Balcony.  Someone will be able to tell you which categories have that (I'm almost sure there are more than 1 category)

The pools and hot tubs "More total pool space than any other ship..."  might be my perspective but between the two areas, it doesn't look as large as a center pool area.  Will be cool to see this.

I still remember all the big promisses made by NCL prior to the introduction of the Epic.  And it is my opinon (and many others) that the Epic is probably the worst ship of the fleet.  So let's wait until September 2022 (I will be 22 days on the Prima) to either clap or cry

I haven't been on others since Epic but I would never share a room with someone with those frosted glass toilets and shower.  ugh.

Don't worry.  There will be a bunch of "specialty restaurants" and, I'm sure, 2 or 3 complimentary dining rooms and something similar to the Garden Cafe (buffet).  All  the dining information will be release later (My best guess is that will happen in the fall)

Some of the specialty restaurants are complimentary for lunch but not dinner correct? I'm really looking forward to Nudls and on a TA .. plenty of time to try them all 😝

Sorry for off topic, but my first cruise since February 2020. msc seaview, our stepsister. :-)))"

    sorry, now back to prima

I'm loyal to NCL, so far.  Been Anxious to sail so have scoped out some of the other lines. Carnival's newer ships (Panorama for example) have a lot of similar designs.  Not sure who came up with what first but it's great to see newer concepts incorporated all around. One thing about NCL that has kept my attention, is the "free" beverage, dining, I'm sure it is built into the price, but it is one less thing to think about when you love your Mimosas and mushroom bisque.  🙃

I think it's great the way they moved the closet to the opposite wall of the entry.   We liked the Bed by the Balcony on the Away ships so we wouldn't have it blocking the closet.    On the Prima they have fixed that problem.

Good point! Plus, when the bed is near the balcony, there is more bathroom privacy 🙃
