  1. Just read a post from Jack's Shack admin that says closed until at least January, hope that isn't true.
  2. Also scheduled to stop here December 1st and December 10th.

  4. We have used between b2b cruises taking advantage of the slow time before others board. They work ok.
  5. I don't think you can get a beer there, they will turn you away,
  6. How does it work if you hit Diamond on the second leg of a b2b?

  8. Enjoy the feeling as we crest the long ramp to board the ship, it's really happening!!!!! Take the carryon bags to the cabin, usually get the first adult beverages at the aft lido bar or the Red Frog Pub if they have one and take some photos. Explore the ship while we wait for the muster drill while having more adult beverages. If the bags arrive early we usually unpack, if not we enjoy the sail away. The cruise has begun!!!
  9. No such luck on my Nov 28th Magic cruise 😒 but I started out with a pretty good deal.
  10. STAYED until 12:01 a.m. EDT on JULY 18, 2021, at which time the conditional sailing order and the measures promulgated under the conditional sailing order will persist as only a non-binding “consideration,” “recommendation” or “guideline,” the same tools used by CDC when addressing the practices in other similarly situated industries, such as airlines, railroads, hotels, casinos, sports venues, buses, subways, and others. Nice to see common sense prevail.
  11. It's all I can do to keep from booking one of the August Horizon cruises from Miami, the casino offer price is so good and the balconies are so cheap. But the middle of hurricane season and the uncertain covid protocols keep me from pulling the trigger.
  12. If you want everyone to wear a mask don't travel!
  13. We haven't been to a Jamaican port yet so I'll have to agree with Belize. On a Carnival excursion, cave tubing I think, we had armed guards around the pavilion while we ate lunch. That with the warnings not to leave the port area, that was our last trip to the mainland, only offshore snorkeling trips after that.
  14. Magic with new paint! Can't wait till November.
  15. Most of the noise comes from the loud people getting off of the elevators on your floor and talking as they walk past your cabin.
  16. Since we live in Florida I always like entering all Florida ports when I search for cruises, just in case a really good deal might pop up. Bummed to see PE missing from the choices.
  17. I'm sorry to hear that, we preferred sailing from Port Everglades over Miami.
  18. I just noticed Port Everglades is not available on the Carnival website while searching for cruises, does anyone know why?
  19. Glad to hear the Magic will be one of the first! Hopefully we'll be on her for our b2b in November/December this year
  20. If most of the changes we've suggested were to become normal operating procedures, increased manpower needs would surely result in more expensive cruises.
  21. I'm holding ours with $50 deposits so I'm hoping I'll have more info to go on by final pay by date.
